Here we go. This game is hella grindy. Only for the most experienced JRPG players.

Realm of The Mad God is a modest farming rpg, where a player travels to different realms to defeat monsters and obtain loot.

Using different classes, there are different weapons, abilities, and armor that they can equip.
Only a few of them are actually balanced, the rest are broken beyond comparison *cough* knight *cough* and some are an embarressment to mankind.

An uneducated pleb like me can only guess the amount of time to farm a good 8/8 character.

The game is to kill Oryx. He's that mad god.
The real game is to grind for your entire life, getting potions to max all of your stats and fusing the ultimate pet to heal you.

In short, this game is trading simulator. Think of it like TF2, except you don't have to invest in keys to get profit.

Do I like it? Yes. Do I recommend it? :3

This amazing game may be only a text game, but is a game that you won't get bored of in 10 minutes! But still is a short game and can get through the game quickly. It reminds me of choose your own path books because you can do just that, except with much more detail and choices to choose from. Maybe if they added some 2D graphics into the game to see what is actually happening, this game would be a whole lot better. There is alot of reading in this game, therefore if you or your child does not like to read, this game might not be the game for them.Very creative and highly recommended to children.

Lets get down to business.

Positive:
- It's basically overwatch for free
- Casual is fun
- Semi-casual is also fun
- Items don't give too much of an advantage, if at all
- Cosmetics are unique and fun
- Has a market like cs:go if you like stuff like that
- Community servers have unique twists and mini-games if you are bored with base game
- Basic tech skill is less than a regular fps

Negative:
- Community is dying, if not already dead
- Matchmaking lol
- A fair bit of hackers, more than you would probably want
- Basically abandoned by Valve


Conclusion: Yeah, I guess.

The game is still good and very fun. It's like Overwatch if matchmaking was a little worse and had tradable hats. I've played this game for a very long time, and still enjoy its quirks. Of course there are matchmaking flaws, because every game has matchmaking flaws. I write this in hopes of reviving the community, because it deserves another chance. Chances are, nobody will even see this review. The game deserves to be recognized like it once was.
