this game is fairly relaxing but oh man the music started getting on my nerves about half an hour in
tldr: many things from this game can be improved but it is a good concept and i could see it vastly improving

things i liked
- some of the styles of the furniture
- the detail when turning on the monitors and rgb keyboards
- the music(for only 20ish minutes)
- the basic idea of it

things i disliked
- scale of objects feels off. things either look too big or too small
- not enough variety in decoration types.
- no ball mouse?? ball mouse erasure (/j)
- no stacks of notebooks or piles of papers.
- lack of extra sliders for hue and saturation in the color customization
- no way to scale items at all to fit certain spaces.
- frankly kinda ugly poster designs. super minimalist, abstract and make the room feel like a badly furnished Air BNB by "hipsters" for "hipsters". no options to even tweak the colors of said posters
- all rooms MUST be rectangular. no angled walls or anything like that :/
- blueprint mode feels clunky. i dont want to have to click on the x so i can delete walls, windows and doors. that could probably be mapped to the right click and it would be more efficient.
- curtains are absurdly big and cannot clip through anything
- no grid snapping means you get 0 assistance when trying to place a curtain on straight.
- felt like they just looked at pinterest for ideas of what can go inside a room.
- lack of organization in the selecting menu. tell or show me how big it is
- the wallpaper doesnt line up >:(
- no toggle to place more than just one item at a time
- no option to delete all items in a room
- no undo or redo with x and y

if you have played the sims(with or without mods), you will plainly see all the ways this game could be improved upon. however, if you want a simple decorating game with a total of 513 items you can change (30 different floors, 64 different wallpapers if you want to exclude those(i also dont understand why you cant just use the color picker for the wallpaper?)), then you should get this. the achievements are also relatively easy to get. the twitter one is just annoying tho.

overall, i wish i could give this game a hearty MEH score. we need a meh rating for steam :P

Hiveswap Friendsim is super charming. it definitely drew me even further(somehow) into the Homestuck universe and i am so so attached to the characters. it felt kinda short but it was still very nice
this definitely wont make a ton of sense to those who have not read Homestuck or played Hiveswap but to those who have consumed said content, this is a very nice way to get to know the characters and the world a little better :)
i went through all of the endings bc i n eeded to see all the dialogues. i wanna give so many of the trolls a hug

basically, get this if u like homestuck. i got it on sale and it was one of the best decisions ive made for my brainrot addled mind

time to make my own silly little guys, gals n pals :D

this game def isnt great. it feels like something you would either make or see in a middle school programming class or on Scratch. some of the mechanics plain didnt work and a lot of the levels were just repeats of the previous level with one or two "obstacles" added. i also dont like the fact that to see the credits again, you have to beat level 102 again.
not too bad for a free game but i dont think it is worth your time
i also for the life of me cannot seem to get the Poke Around achievement :p

basically just a lootbox simulator.not a super quality game but good if you are addicted to the feeling of getting good loot from lootboxes :P not too bad for a buck but the last achievement is punishing af and i dont think it will even feel good to earn it
if you are looking for easy achievements, all of them except one are easy to get. to get the final achievement, you have to open a total of 100,000 boxes. it took about 3000 to get the first 28 achievements. after 14 hours total gameplay, i am only at 5,931 boxes -_- thats with an autoclicker

51 achievements out of 74 are for DLC content.
this game locks achievements behind dlc walls. super scummy imo. this game is v lackluster and it is hard to place items the way you want to. i fell for the game hype bc a ton of youtubers had played this and im v disappointed that this is in my steam library at all.
there is 0 chance that im willing to spend 100+ bucks on garbage dlc that add very little to the game.

very very cute. only played as far as summer so far with my mom and a friend but its really cute! the levels seem to all be pretty similar but they add an element that makes things harder. i really really wish the single player stuff was more fleshed out tho. it feels so gross and impossible to do single player :/ def a game i will only play with other people

got this game with a coupon and it was simply ok. achievements were easy to get and the graphics are pretty simple but jeez my eyes hurt every time i completed a level. it fades to white and there is no setting to change that
if you want a simple puzzle game, this is the one for you

Early Access Review
Project Zomboid is a very punishing survival game. the base game itself isnt super intuitive UI-wise and the learning curve is pretty steep but after dying a good couple times, you learn how to survive much better. the game is pretty simple on its own but even without mods , i stayed entertained for 12 hours before i decided to look at mods.

get this game if you want a punishing yet rewarding zombie survival game :)

mods make the game even better. i highly recommend peeking at the workshop and grabbing a couple quality of life mods as it makes the game a bit easier and allows for a bit more customization. i also recommend using custom sandboxes if you're dying often, as you can enable multi-hit which is SUPER helpful when it comes to fighting hordes

A Little to the Left was very cute but a bit simple for my taste. some of the puzzles also did not make sense to me and i was frustrated that i had to look online for solutions. im also upset that some of the achievements are either tedious or time consuming to get :/
to my fellow achievement hunters, i do not recommend getting this game

to specify on what achievements are making me upset, it is the "Special Day,5,10,15", Sqweeky Clean,Two Weeks Sweep, Calendar Collector(there is literally no way that im going to be able to remember to do it for 30 days straight, let alone a week or two.), all of the daily tidy achievements(you have to do it 100 days to get all of them and this makes me. very upset)

ive beat the game twice in under 8 hours. it does not feel like a lot of content and is made even more apparent by the fact that the daily tidies are just randomized rolls of the games levels

this heavily feels like it could've been a 3-5 mobile device game.
really wishing there were a meh recommendation button because while i def did enjoy this game, its def not for everyone and it coulda been handled better

edit 3/27/23: i am heavily bored by the dailies and i always have a bit of dread that im going to end up getting the snowflake one. it is by far my least favorite and takes a good bit of time and the noise. GOD the noise aggravates me to no end. i've had to turn the sounds off for the game entirely because i hate it so much.

edit 5/1/23: i am changing my review. the game itself is good, there are just some parts that make it very aggravating. i am almost done with the 100 days one and im really glad im almost done.

if you want to do any sort of creative thing in a VR environment for free and without hassle, ABSOLUTELY pick up this game.

Open Brush is seriously amazing. It feels intuitive and super easy to pick up. the fact it is free is absolutely baffling to me, huge props to the devs. join the discord if you are interested in staying updated! i've yet to try out the new update but from the video i watched, it looks super promising!
