I find myself coming back over and over to play as Sonic in the open world. This playstyle is refreshing and fun and I overall really enjoyed the game. Few bugs and visual glitches, but nothing that distracted from the game as a whole. 8/10.

I kickstarted this game and it is everything I expected it to be and more. Performace is not an issue as the game simply runs perfectly. All worlds are fully fleshed out and full of color and life. There is so much to explore and I spent over 16 hours on the game before reaching the final boss. There is so much to do in the game.

I loved most of the collectable challenges you had to complete. There were some that are more trouble than their worth, but for the completionist, it makes the game that much more challenging. There were only 2 or 3 instances where I was frustrated beyon belief at something simple, so those could be better.

Overall though, this really is the spiritual successor to the Banjo-Kazooie series and I look forward to what else Playtonic will do!
