I played this game on Steam Deck.
I had this game sitting in my library for quite some time before giving it a go. I wish I had done so much sooner, because Yakuza 0 is an incredible game, from start to finish. The characters are memorable and lovable, the story is enticing and emotional, the culmination of your journey as both Majima and Kiryu towards the end is nothing but addicting. The gameplay is very rewarding if you're willing to put the time and effort into improving your skills.
Yakuza 0 features that dark serious story you expect from the Yakuza, but also plenty of comedic and heartwarming side quests that the series is famous for, which you should definitely try to do.
In total, I would give Yakuza 0 a 10/10. I have no serious complaints or major issues with the game and any I could propose would simply be nitpicks. Highly recommend, even if you've never played this type of game before, it is extremely beginner friendly!

As a big fan of the Half-Life series, I found a lot to like within Cruelty Squad. Though it looks crude and amateur at first glance, every bit of this game was meticulously designed to deceive you. Behind the psychedelic graphics and bizarre music is a game full of unique mechanics and gameplay elements. No two playthroughs of this game are the same. You'll find yourself strategizing constantly, coming up with your own ways to play and maneuver obstacles. It's a truly fun experience from beginning to end and I was surprised at how much the game captivated me. Even after the game is over, there's more endings to achieve and more secrets to find in each previous level. Cruelty Squad will go down, in my opinion, as one of the best and most creative singleplayer FPS titles in history.

TLDR: If you like a challenge, then this game is for you, but if you're looking for a relaxing retrowave experience, then this isn't it.
As a lover of all things retrowave, this game nails the visual and audio style. It's amazing to look at and the soundtrack is excellent. On a gameplay side of things, it's very simple. You'll only be using 2 keys for all the levels and each level has something inherently unique to it, giving them all their own distinct personality and nice replayability (Although some levels will require you to use these 2 Left and Right keys as Up and Down during sidescrolling bits instead of actually changing the keys, which can be confusing)
This isn't much of a rhythm game even though some parts of the levels' obstacles do match the beat, these parts are the best of Neon Drive (along with it's epic second halves of each level), but most of the game is trial and error. Some obstacles are so close together that if you aren't seemingly frame perfect with your presses, then you lose and are forced to go to the last checkpoint, what's even worse sometimes is when the level will get you into a specific rhythm of repeating obstacles and then bait you into a complex obstacle. It often makes you feel like your loss wasn't your fault.
Neon Drive is not a relaxing game. Some levels are easier than others and can be fun to replay, but even on the easiest difficulty, most of this game is quite difficult, even frustratingly, and requires a good sense of memorization and perfect timing to succeed.
Overall, I would recommend it. Completing the levels feels great and replaying them gets easier as you memorize them, which helps create a more satisfying experience in the end.

Simple concept with incredibly deep psychological gameplay. Incredibly fun and accessible for all types of gamers, plus, who could say no to that classic Newgrounds aesthetic?

I'm 12 years into this game, I recommend it with every fiber of my being. I fell in love with the characters, the world, the art, the community, the everything. I'm not typically a fan of FPS games, especially multiplayer ones, but TF2 captured me from the start and I've enjoyed this title for every bit.
There's something here for everyone, and in a modern era full of hero shooters saturating the market, I've yet to see one that emulates the pure passion and creativity and fun behind this game. It was the first of it's kind, it perfected the genre and I believe it's possible no other game will ever top it. TF2 holds a place not just in my heart, but in the history of internet culture and gaming's greatest hits. "The most fun you can have online" from PC Gamer isn't an understatement and holds true to this very day.
Is it a perfect game? Not at all, out of the box, TF2 is riddled with outdated settings, no beginner friendly features and servers filled with players who've been mastering their skills for the past decade and a half, which is intimidating I admit, not to mention a team of developers who struggle to take proper care of the game or capitalize on it's thriving popularity nearly 2 decades into it's lifespan. But when you look past these issues and get into the meat and bones of this game and just play it as it is, you will discover it's magic and fall in love. That I guarantee. The only thing you will despise about this game is that you didn't try it sooner.
