Description
S.E.I Presents to you a DX11 Ready Flak/Plasma Weapon Pack

Contains: Flak 200mm, Flak 500mm, fixed 130mm flak (small ship), a Plasma Turret, an Interior Blaster Turret, a Gimballed Gatling Gun and a Boarding Plasma Cutter so far...

NOTE: I have set myself a 10,000 subscriber challenge: at this point I will either add a pulse-bomb or an anti-missile turret. :) 1800 to go...

>The flak turrets are used to engage small ships ranging from fighters to corvette.

>The fixed flak cannon for small ships is used for similar purposes as the flak turrets, but have slightly more accuracy intending for single target engagment rather than squadron engagement. They work best in tandem with gimballed gatling guns (2 of each work a treat).

>The plasma turret is used to engage targets from afar. They are only effective when targeting critical systems, they are relatively ineffective against armour plating.

>The interior blaster is for use in close quarters against characters. The damage to inanimate objects is negligible.

>The Gimballed Gatling Gun is used to introduce a new strategy in dog fighting tactics. Has the power, stability and size of a regular gatling gun, but with two degrees of freedom and automatic targetting. Works best with a couple in tandem with a couple of fixed 130mm flak cannons.
Stats: +12-6 Elevation, +8-8 Azimuth (all measurements in degrees)

>The plasma cutter is designed as a hollow (walk-through) boarding weapon to infiltrate through the armour of ships. Mount onto a small (large grid) boarding ship, add a couple of landing gear to protect from impacts and cut away thorugh their hull, then just swarm through the cutter with drones and troops.

Hopefully these mods will enhance your in-game experience in space engineers. Enjoy. :)

-Plasma cutters small and large (hull breaching boarding party weapons)
-Unique Non-Weapon Mods

Current Goals:
-Custom Icons, no more silly gatling gun icons...
-Better Flak sound without the distorting at some angles fixed
-Plasma "ball" rather than a "bolt"
-Construction models (Ongoing - likely to take a few updates)
-Larger proximity detonation range for flak - (Requires scripting)
-Comeplete overhaul of models, they will keep the same theme but be much more detailed with far better texturing (This was my first ever mod)

UPDATE: 04/10/2015
-Updated size of Flak130mm ammo to fit through small conveyors

UPDATE 25/08/2015
-Altered Flak Cannon to fire a cluster of flak and then reload
-Corrected bug on Gimballed Gatling gun that caused it to invert when coloured

-Added fixed Flak Cannon for small ships (black prophecy style)
-Added Gimballed Gatling Gun for small ships
-Added Large PlasmaCutter (used for boarding ships)
-Created SEI block category for easier finding of mods

UPDATE 19/05/2015
- 3/5 Initial construction models for flak 200mm implemented. These are by no means complete!
- Fixed the missing texture problem.

UPDATE 16/05/2015
-Piston friendly collision model added to 200mm Flak
-200mm Flak model adjusted slightly so that it doesn't clip through the raised "edges" on armour blocks when recessed into the hull.

UPDATE 14/05/2015:
-Fixed 200mm ammo produced after pressing produce 500mm
-Changed plasma colour to a mid/light blue due to poll results on KSWH Forums (no longer subject to change unless multiple ammo types are used)
-Added preliminary 3D sound to 200mm and 500mm Flak turrets.

Would you consider making a version of this for weaponcore? I absolutely love the look of these weapons however i dont think i can play this game wtihout weaponcore now that ive played with it :P

@The One Percent I gota disagree about the flak, I think its supposed to be an anti-missile system so it should have a max range of AT MOST 800m.

yea, yea, please let us know!! also plasma should destroy everything not only subsystems, and the flak sounds are horrible.

I love this weapon pack and all but sadly I don't enjoy how the plasma weapon is the longest range when in reality it shouldn't be more then 1200 range where the 200mm should have 1600 and the 500mm should be the 2000 range.

Then I realze that this mod has been abadoned.... real shame

Look at the Last Updated date before downloading.
