Welcome to my new map!

This map was inspired by a friends idea of playing all 81 tiles where you build multiple smaller cities, each having it's own eco system and infrastructure, and the main goal connecting them all together in multiple ways using available transportation methods. Thus, you will find, that it has lots of flat building space, as well as a fair amount of verticality to discover.

However, if playing this style is not your thing, this map is perfect for your next Metropolis too.

It requires no DLC. It's a simple map really.

LUT used is Relight2Alpine (comes with More Relight LUTs, linked on the right). When you subscribe to Liora Theme Mix, select it from Theme Mixer 2 and load.

I strongly recommend Daylight Classic, as it gets rid of the yellow tint which gives the game a bad visual appeal.
I also strongly recommend Clouds & Fog Toggler which gets rid of all unnecessary smoke effects and gives you that clean look.

Note: You do not need Relight for this map, only the LUT package called 'More Relight LUTs'.


When creating a new game using this map, make sure under Base map theme it says European (Don't change) and under Custom map theme: RRealistic V1.4.5 Europe. The latter is not mandatory, but make sure you load Liora Theme Mix when you finish loading and get into the game.

Even thought it is not necessary, I recommend you start a game with 81 Tiles (Fixed for 1.2+) for full immersion, as there is way more to discover and build on than on the original 25 tiles.

I constructed the map using my imagination, and I was heavily inspired by places in northern Europe with lush green hills and mountains and modern transportation options.

The start square intersection took a long time to make, but I think it was wroth it in the end. The tunnel entrances was the only other asset I used next to trees as I think the stock ones look very plain.
