I did this before your update, tackling the RoR problem by directly editing them in Lily's overhaul, but the update is welcome nonetheless, thank you
I'm not sure what could be causing the issues you report in the base mod. When I launch the game, the stat changes for the Greatswords appear and they are superior to the Sword & Board ones in everything except melee defense and having shields. Keep in mind that they have different niches - the Greatswords are elite infantry killers while the shielded ones are lineholders.
Is it possible a different mod is causing the Greatsword stats to be overwritten?
Hello, it seems this rework of squires compatibility patch doesn't affect Knights of Bastone ror squire unit, the unit ends up weaker than its generic counterparts.
Also I looked at your original Squire rework and don't understand whats up, it seems you made stat changes for greatswords as well, but when using in game your Sword and Shield Squires stilll outperform the greatswords extremely in stat department. I use Lily's Bret overhaul for now, so when using this patch too only trhe Bastonne knight issue remains.
Just thought I'd report this, it's odd that while using original mod of yours without Lily Overhaul the Swordsmen/Shields outperform Greatswords (and of course Knight of Bastonne) despite the stat changes.
Tried to put the original mod up top but it made zero difference
Cheers
