Well Im not too worried about this. I have not encountered any problems running this game. Great if you find out the root cause, let the devs know.

well im wondering if it has anything to do with the new steam web helper bug that has plagued many people recently with the latest update.
When pple disable it steam re DLs the file and problems solved.

But heres the thing, the latest update puts steamwebhelper.exe in a never before used folder, its no longer in bin file so the fire walls ushally block it . THus, my suspicion is that it is being blocked until one restarts game it also maybe restarting the webhelper.

I experimented with this and I restarted webhelper then noticed that all other functionalities within steam overlay and game FPS experianced greater performance. However, I am still not 100% sure if this is tied to this bug that you mention.

If you don't know what the NO STEAM issue really is, you don't have it and don't need this guide, so you should stop worrying about it.

oh thats too bad,does verify integrity of data work? I know sometimes I crash while in game then I verify game folders and found out some workshop items update changes ini from the original and need restart.

if you don't have it, you don't really need this guide
either way it's a bug that doesn't allow you to play ASRD (or AS, it's the same bug) when launching it. The only thing you can do is "Quit"

what bug is this ? I never seem to have it , does it bug so you cant quit AS? or cant get off steam? description seems vague . Is this supose to be a joke ? haha hehe

method 2 if that doesn't work restart computer (sometimes a dll in memory can be bugged out) restarting the computer fixes it.
