Description
So you got the riot under control, now what? Clean up the mess afterwards in an elegant way! Have a little Cemetery in the forest to bury dead people.

Once a person is buried, a photo will appear on the grave to remember him/her. And of course a relative will come to bring some flowers. The flowers are considered rubbish by the workmen, but if you are quick enough you can sell them with the Sell Object.

Every now and then a Visitor will come to put some fresh flowers on an occupied Grave, to keep your workmen or prisoners busy. Please make sure the tiles around the Graves are accessible for them, otherwise they will spawn but don't move.

When a Grave is occupied it will be cleaned up after a while, so it can be used again.


RESEARCH
- You will need to research Health before you can use the graves.
- Prison Labour research is required to have prisoners produce Coffins in a Workshop

- Gravedigger, needs an office and will lead the reform programs

- Grave Digging, teach prisoners how to dig holes
- Coffin Production, teach prisoners how to make their own Coffins


NEW GRANTS
- Morgue, to set up the new Morgue
- Cemetery, to build a last resting place
- Coffin Workshop, to create a new workshop


NEW JOBS
- Close Coffin, Dig Hole, Bury Entity, Place Stone, Tend Grave, Tend GraveStone, Clean Grave
All jobs can be done by prisoners working at the Cemetery. If no prisoners are assigned to work, then Workmen or Gardeners will take over.





USAGE
Build a little enclosed Cemetery room somewhere outside, and fill her up with Empty Graves, GraveStones and an optional Table. Also place a Table in the Morgue and place some Empty Coffins, they will be stored on these Tables.

Coffins are sellable since they can also be produced in the Workshop: if you place more Coffins than can be stored on the tables, then those will go to Exports.

Dead people are stored in the Coffins, then brought to an Empty Grave at the Cemetery.

The Graves can bury any entity from the game, including new and unknown entities from other mods. Those are called John Doe and get a generic photo. Unfortunately it's not possible to get the face and body of dead prisoners, so they get a generic photo as well, with their security level colour.

PRIORITY
The priority of dead people changes with this mod:

1a. Store in Coffin at the Morgue, or
1b. Store in Coffin at the Cemetery
2. Store in MorgueSlab
3. Bring to Hearse. A Hearse will NOT spawn if there is at least 1 empty Coffin somewhere on the map. Make it inaccessile to prevent a Hearse from ever spawning on an island map with no roads.


This mod is compatible with the Metro Stations mod for building island prisons.


Having troubles with dead people not being moved to a Cemetery or Morgue? Check the Deployment screen if the area is Shared and not StaffOnly, or if it has the same security level as the dead prisoner. Dead MaxSec prisoners won't be brought to a MedSec Morgue/Cemetery for instance.

Known issues:
- Unfortunately a dead person and a coffin will fight over the render depth, resulting in blinking sprite when a person is in a coffin... This bug has been reported, would be nice to see this fixed.
- Sometimes a Coffin ready to be put in a Big Hole will be put on another Empty Grave instead. This is not a real problem, since the hole just waits for another coffin to be stored. So you might see a hole here and there at the Cemetery. This 'bug' only adds some more realism to the scene, so I don't see this as something which needs to be fixed.


UPDATE:
- Fixed little bug in coffin script.
- Added missing sprites for some visitors
- Separate Graves for prisoners and other people. Prisoners will get one of the four simple stones, while Staff Graves get one of the 12 nicer GraveStones. You can now make a dedicated area for staff and other people by placing Staff Graves, so they don't have to be buried between the criminals.

@Feodal Why post the same message on 2 different mods? Just don't build a huge coffin workshop, coffins have a high export value.

Very interesting mod! But, for me, it does not work correctly. After I build a coffin shop, the prison starts shipping goods that I don't produce. And every few hours, I get $ 2,000 in my account. As a result, I have a lot of money, ($30,000 a day), although I did nothing. For me, this is not interesting, I used to think that I would earn every cent. Sorry for me english.

i used this for months when the new island bound came i crashed my game the update change this some how i tried taking all items but this one will not work with island bound update even on other maps something change it please help

Please be aware that this mod is outdated and the Cemetery 2.0 mod includes a Crematorium in case you suffer from mass deaths!

Unless you are playing with PA Update 13 or older, you'd better subscribe to the new version and grab this old mod only if you need it for very old prison saves. The newer version also has some bugfixes which this version doesn't have, and is compatible with more mods. DO NOT activate both cemetery mods at the same time, they are not compatible with eachother.

Totally amazing stuff. As a keen fan of grave yards/cemeteries it is a nice addition. Thanks for sharing.

@Murgh, thanks for writing back. I thought my prisoners were happy, I've used the same regime setup forever. But after I babied the crap out of my prisoners they started to pass. Love your mods!

Perhaps try to schedule the classes on a different hour of the day, see if that helps. There should be no reason for them not to pass.
