No "Close to Winning" Modifier

Description
This mod removes the "close to winning" modifier that was added in the summer patch. This modifier affects diplomacy, making it so that the closer you are to winning, the angrier the AI will get with you, negatively affecting your relationships with them.

To me, and I think to many others, this modifier detracts from the immersion of the game.

I think this mod is outdated (I think it tries to delete the malus in "modifiers" but it seems it is in "traitmodifiers"). Here is my version of it https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1581223973

Any update on this mod? For me it shows up with the person who had a "You are winning, they fear us" modifier to say "Unknown reason" but it's still there... Any help on this would be great. Using the latest patch with all the DLC (except rise and fall)

What kind of things would this conflict with? Because when I enable it the game loads but I never spawn in and turns tick by on their own. Only ever had that happen with mod conflicts, but I have enough to where I need to narrow down my search since I don't have all week to go through one by one to try every possible combination

This should be baseline. I think this modifier should be in deity or the difficulties near it. But it shouldn't be around for those of us that just wants to pretend we're running an empire. I miss having buddies in allied wars with me from civ 4 rather than being the sole target a la Napoleon =(.

Hope this works, TY Author. I'm seeing some jenky stuff beyond just diplo rage. Run away tech and other victory conditions when you play above your difficulty.
