Press E to smell

You should see clouds of smoke/mist if you don't see them there are probably no animals nearby. Walk around pressing E if you find a cloud of smoke/mist that means an animal has been there not to long ago or is still there. There are different colors of smoke/mist I have a list below to show what the different colors mean.
What the different colors mean
Small green means a lizard is or was here.
Chamops

Yellow means a carnivore is or was here.
Acheroraptor
Tyrannosaurus
Dakotaraptor

Big green means a large herbivore is or was here.
Triceratops
Pachycephalosaurus
Thescelosaurus
Basilemys
Ornithomimid

Pink means that a corpse is or was here.

Ugh the new smell system sucks... Nothing makes any sense and it's completely worthless besides a blue tint for some random animal that i have to take a guess on whether it's a tasty lizard or a big lizard that wants to kill me

It's a pity they changed it to just sparkles, no way to tell whats what, other than a lot of sparkles means a lot of animals, or a very big one.

I know this might be kind of obvious, but you should talk about how smelling lets you see animals hidden behind things as a blue outline
