The World Map
Not 100% accurate.

Not to scale.

But it is good enough to help you find your way if you know what to look for. I am working on a more accurate version

Ocean

The ocean marks a very unique boundary of the map. It is also East, and you can tell which direction it is by where the sun comes up in the morning. The water is undrinkable.
Salt Marsh

Located in the North-East, near the Ocean. The ocean-side of this marsh is undrinkable, being salt water. You can tell by the teal / green / aquamarine color.

If you walk more inland, you can drink the water. There can be birds, Borealosuchus, Brachychampsa, the occasional lizard and Palaeosaniwa, and herds of Pachycephalosaurus and Orinthomimid.

Swamp

A 'lake' with numerous isles and islands of land, and many Cypress trees. You can find Birds, Brachychampsa, Borealosuchus, and the occasional lizard here. Palaeosaniwa isn't as common but can be found now and then, and passing herds of Pachycephalosaurus and Orinthomimids will appear
Crater Lake

Located between the Salt Marsh and the North river-lake, it has very steep sides that often trap the AI dinosaurs in the water at the bottom. It has two big islands in the middle and lots of Cypress Trees in the water

Your Dakotaraptor might find itself trapped as well, as the 'beach' that surrounds this lake is very steep and in places you cannot climb out, you'll just keep sliding back into the water. Younger Dakotaraptors might find themselves trapped and starve.

You can find small creatures like the occasional lizard and Palaeosaniwa, and herds of Pachycephalosaurus and Orinthomimid, i'[ve seen Borealosuchus and Brachychampsa in the water now and then, as well as the rare herd of Triceratops and the very rarely Tyrannosaurus Rex
Redwood Forest Biome

Characterized by the very tall, red-barked trees.

Here I can often find Palaeosaniwas, Orinthomimids, Dakotaraptor life stages, Pachycephalosaurus, and the occasional Acheroraptor. Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops can be found here very rarely
Fern Prairie Biome

As the name suggests, this area has lots of open space, and lots of low ferns and taller palm trees. This area features a lot of lizards, plentiful Palaeosaniwas, and herds of Orinthomimids. Pachcephalosaurus and Tyrannosaurus Rex can be found here as well but I almost never see Acheroraptor in this biome. Triceratops are very common in this biome
Hardwood Forest Biome

Harwood Forest and Upland forest can be confused for each other quite easily, and I'm still unsure if all the areas I have marked as one are actually for the other.

These seem to be fairly tall, but thin, trees, with very leafy tops.

I find Palaeosaniwas, and bigger herbivores like Orinthomimid and Pachycephalosaurus here, but not very many small lizards. Acheroraptor can be found lurking here occasionally. According to the Encyclopedia, Tyrannosaurus Rex can also spawn here.
Upland Forest Biome

Upland forest is, I think, the forest that's located in the higher elevations on top of hills. They appear to be thicker trees than the Broadleaf forest, with similarly leafy tops that are not necessarily as green.

Palaeosaniwas can be found here, as well as Pachycephalosaurus and Tyrannosaurus Rex. I can occasionally find Chamops lizards in this biome, and now and then a herd of Trike will spawn. There are LOTS Of Orinithomimid flocks in the upper bluffs (I ran into three flocks with 5-8 members each in the span of 30 seconds on one bluff)
Cypress Swamp Biome

Easily recognizable from its wide-root trunks, white bark, and the 'water ring' around the lower base of the tree. Usually found near or in water.

In this biome you can find many birds on the river banks, as well as Borealosuchus and Brachychampsa on the banks and in the water. The occasional lizard and Palaeosaniwa will be found here, and herds of Pachycephalosaurus and Orinthomimid. Very rarely I see a Tyrannosaurus Rex
Beach Biome

Easily recognizable from its stretches of sand and scattering of palm trees. Borders the Ocean in the East

You can find birds along the beach and sometimes lizards too, as well as the occasional Mosasaur carcass. Bracychampsa or Borealosuchus can sometimes be found in the ocean shallows. Acheroraptors will occasionally spawn here, and herds of Pachycephalosaurus, Orinthomimid, and Triceratops can wander here from the fern prarie nearby

and btw, with all the rex speak, if you skim the borders of the map, then you will see like, 2-3 rexes atleast, but be carful for any spwaning on top of you, (happened to my adult dakota in realistic), and the chances of seeing rex at crater was increased. i saw one hunting a pachy herd down there.

was still very helpful. also btw, on your acheivment guide, its outdated since you can easily get crocodile hunter as juvie trike or bigger, and when pachy and rex come out it will be even easier. but, i also watch your videos on beasts of bermuda and saurian, and this was still very helpful since now i know where to properly find bone butte island and all of these places!

this is pretty good, but sometimes i get confused and weirded out, since for somereason, for me, at the beach all i see is nodosaurs, struithiomimus (ornithomimids), rare archeroraptor, plentiful of turtles, but no trees or mosas, or coral reefs if you go far enough out into the ocean. is there a way to change this?

Can confirm that T-Rex does spawn in the Hardwood Forest biome, I was south of the Redwood Forest and saw one out to get a drink
