Introduction

Incase you don't know what Melonbomber is. It is a gamemode where yo blow people up with melons. Last person standing wins. Quite simple right??? Well this gamemode is a lot harder then you think it is. Hopefully after you have read through this guide your skills will improve.
Controls
WASD are the movement keys
Space/ Left Click is to plant melons
Right click is to place line bombs/ detonate
Ctrl is to line bombs/detonate melons if you have the remote

Powerups

Cherry bomb/Power bomb - This bomb is a power up you can pick up. I think it has the power of 9 I am not to sure
Red Fuel canister - Increases power by 1
Boot - Increases speed by 1
Melons - Increases the amout of melons you can place down. (make you that the melon is a power up not a melon. i have seen people make these mistakes including me)
Melon kick - kicks melons away as long as it is one melon by itself
Line bomb - automatically places bombs in a straight line depending where you are facing
Piercing - pierce through creates depening on the amount of power you have
Remote - detonate melons at anytime anywhere.
Tactics - Blowing up boxes
Firstly just so you know there arn't going to be any advance tatics here.

When you begin a game never place down a melon. Why??? Well the place where you spawn can be in a very tight space like the picture below.
If you spawned where the red dot it and you placed a melon. It will be too late by the time you realise your mistake. Of course alot of people wouldn't place down a melon stright away, but if you lag, thats a different story.

Getting power ups is one of the most important things game. Wihout power ups you are pretty much a sitting duck. So blowing as many boxes you can with one bomb is essential. 1 bomb can blow up the maximum of 3 boxes (without power ups). Before the round begins have a look at your spawn and see where it would be best to place a bomb.

Tactics killing

Now time for the fun part and the most dreaded part. This is when you can kill yourself the most when you get reckless.

The first tactic that I am going to expain to you is the one I hate the most. Kill everyone you come across even at the start. Harass that person non-stop with you melons. Trap other people with your melons. This is the way to go if you don't want to blow up boxes. To get power ups with this method is by picking power ups dropped by the person or if they are laying around on the amp. You will still have to blow up boxes but not as much.

Second tactic: farming is usally my play style since you get a decent amount of power ups. You can also survive pretty well with this tactic if you know what yoou are doing. At the start of each game, don't go to the spot and plant your melon straight away because the other person could trap you as you are planting the bomb. This applies in the middle of the round as well. Near the end of the round you would of have most power ups. This is when you would start spamming bombs and hope for he best.

Thrid tactic: The thrid tactic is both combined but you don't kill every person you see, you do a bit of farming first, then when a person tries to kill you then you either ignore him and contiune with planting the bombs and hopes he gets killed trying to reach you or you just harass him until he makes a mistake.

The most important item at the start of a game is the melon kick. These can save you a lot of times when you make a small mistake. When you have the remote, plant a bomb where your victim won't see it. Harass him untill he comes for you. Lure him into the trap and kill him. This works really well with the cherry bomb. Also make sure that you are not in the same line as the cherry bomb or you will be killed.
