SOL BADGUY

Leírás
Sol Badguy is the protagonist of Arc System Works' excellent Guilty Gear series. This model comes from Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, and man, seeing this guy without TeamRED's superb shaders makes me really appreciate the work they did in making their 3D game look 2D.

Included are three models: Sol's body, his head (should be able to parent it to the body pretty easily), and his weapon, the Junkyard Dog Mk. III. TeamRED's original skeleton is intact, although I found that I did have to make some adjustments. The elbows are weird; to get them to look proper you have to both translate and rotate the lower arm bone. Maybe that's my fault, I don't know. I'll admit to being pretty poor at posing models in SFM, but if anyone makes a cool poster I'd love to see it.

Obviously literally nothing here belongs to me, everything is copyrighted by Arc System Works, and if they want me to take this down I'd be more than happy to do so. Pls no sue.

The problem I'm currently having with Ino is the damn sleeves. They don't seem to be connected to any of the bones, so I've been having to weight paint them myself, and I seem to be doing so with the precision of a shotgun at long range. Finally worked out the kinks in her eyes though.

@Expendable Sith: It was actually quite a process, but there's this separate tool/decrypter for Revelator stuff, but I had to go through quite a bit just to get it to actually work.

@Mister Prawn Beginner's luck? I don't know, maybe the polygon count limit for SFM is higher? I have noticed that Ino's eyes break when I try to consolidate the UV maps, so maybe that sort of optimization is what you're talking about. How did you extract the Jam model? I though the decrypter only worked on Sign's models.

You're Gonna Work On Starfire soon?
Mister Prawn 2017. aug. 15., 20:41
I've actually ported Jam from Xrd Revelator earlier, but I had to otimize the mesh big time in order to make it work for Gmod. How were you able to make Sol Badguy possible, out of curiosity?

Actually, I'm working on Ino from GGXrd. It's going to take some time though, as something looks weird with the eyes and I'm doing my best to correct it.

Who's Next? Starfire from Injustice 2?
