Introduction

This guide contains a list of short, straight-forward videos showing the location of all Wintermute episode 1 and 2 caches. To navigate in this guide, you can select the different caches in the menu on the right.

Note that the graphics in this video is from a previous version, but the quest works the same in Redux so the guide can be trusted. (However, there seems to be a bug where some people does not get quest for picking up required note.)

To unlock Forest Talker caches, follow the main quest until you end up at the Broken Railroad Hunting Lodge. In the lodge, you can find a note which will unlock the caches on your map.

To unlock Forest Talker caches, follow the main quest until you end up at the Broken Railroad Hunting Lodge. In the lodge, you can find a note which will unlock the caches on your map.

Our friends at Hinterland were kind enough to confirm that Jeremiah's flare cache was removed in redux. So, I'm only able to find 3 caches in ML now:
- Hill behind logging camp (note from lake cabin)
- Hill by tunnel to Muskeg (illegible note from lookout)
- Alan's cave (note in Carter Hydro)
Does anyone know if I'm missing a cache and note?

Update: I'd forgotten one of these caches (already listed) & I've now got the achievement, leading me to believe that the trust cache in episode 2 was removed entirely and not "replaced" like the one from episode 1.

@rossbond that cache is already on this list... I've done them all and did not get an achievement. one is still missing.

Jeremiahs Flare Cache is replaced by finding a note on the outside front steps pinned the the Hunting Lodge. This places a new cache on your map that is not far away at all...literally like 100 paces...in that Cache you find some supplies and a note with the Code for the Aurora Hatch...which is in the exact same place as it was in Predux.

@sunrho: Haven't found a replacement yet, cant find any info on it and havent found while playing. I expect there should be a replacement as ep 1 trust cache was replaced.

Any idea if something has replaced the "Jeremiah Flare Cache"? I have been able to find every one of the listed caches for the Cache Mastery achievement in Redux, plus the Milton cache in the truck at the bridge and Jeremiah's Prepper cache in the Muskeg, but still haven't received the Cache Mastery achievement.
