Era - 1990s - NJPW

Hashimoto was the longest reigning holder of the IWGP Heavyweight title, one of the Three Musketeers of the 90s with Masahiro Chono and Keiji Mutoh and one of the most charismatic wrestlers in New Japan history. His hard kicks and his progression of increasingly powerful DDTs gave him a surefire way to dispatch opponents as he pursued or defended gold.

Hashimoto would later win the All Japan Triple Crown, and hold the NWA World Heavyweight title in Pro Wrestling Zero-One, giving him a truly rare set of accomplishments.
