How Is This Being Done?
All of the benchmarks are created through trial and estimation. Only a small amount of the rendering devices listed were actually benchmarked, while the rest are estimates based of comparison, research, and a somewhat complex math formula I (EXtothePERT) had to write up (and I am not good at math!).

What Are The Rest Of The Specs For Each Build Benchmarked?
There is one "core" build that is being used. Its specs are;
  • Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M 3GB
  • Intel Core i7-6700HQ
  • 16GB of DDR4 RAM
  • Windows 10 Home 64-bit
  • DirectX 12 (GB runs using DX11)
The rest of the specs are more or less irrelivent as they wouldn't have much of an impact on performance.

When more builds are officially benchmarked in the future, they will be made more accurate compared to their currrent estimations based off the core build.

What defines minimum, recommended, and optimal?
Down below in the benchmark lists, you may notice that some devices may have either "minimum," "recommended," and three different "optimal" boxes. As Pedia Beasts, we have self defined them in terms of performance and price.
  • Minimum - The required device to average out on a smooth framerate. Here, Pedia Beasts defines a smooth framerate as 20fps or above - This opinion normally varies from person to person.
  • Recommended - The required device to average out at the generic 30fps mark, or what ever the best performing device is if none of the devices from its' brand are able to get above 30fps.
  • Optimal - There are three variations;
    • 60hz - The required device to average out at about 60fps.
    • 120hz - The required device to average out at about 120fps.
    • 144hz - The required device to average out at about 144fps.

Overall... Each benchmark is not perfect, and could very well vary from person to person. If something seems way off, then please report it!
