How to fix the extra health visual glitch

Hello.

A few of my friends were unfortunate enough get their save files corrupted, which caused them to have an extra health bar, looking like their healths are extended beyond 100% which can cause suspicion to people who weren't aware that it's just a visual glitch and it doesn't affect the actual health in any way, so they could've assumed that this person is cheating.

The bad thing about this glitch is that it may ruin your reputation by causing others suspicion or even an idea that you're cheater. If you don't want this to happen, I'm sharing the method I used to help my friends fix the issue.

You'll need at least one friend for this. I'm not sure if it'll work otherwise.

Ok to start, first make sure that you don't have any buffs such as Medkit's healing on Hard/Nightmare modes.

1. Respec Legend skill-tree.
2. Have your friend kill you with Super Molotov.
3. Go to your Legend skill-tree and add one point in Health.
4. Respec Legend.
5. Add one point in Health again.
6. Now have your friend revive you and see if the glitch still exists.

P.S Sorry for the video quality, I know it's trash. For some reason YouTube always destroys the quality on videos I upload which I recorded with Nvidia GeForce's Instant Replay.

great guide :) as for the video quality.. ive recently become aware the instant replay video is set by default to low resolution.. you can change it by going into the settings.. just a thought :)

@Kill Switch, you are wrong. This can be caused by corrupt savefiles. As you can see I had this myself, and couldn't get rid of it for weeks. The idea that it is a corrupted file comes from Techland Support, and I have never attempted to use this glitch at any point (I discovered it after I got the extended health bar).

BTW its from a glitch you do purposely and not from corrupt save files, if the save files were corrupt then they would have their saves deleted or unplayable. This is a gltich using the exact method you use to fix but your friend kills you once you max your health.
