[WotC] Expanded Callsigns and Nicknames

Description
This mod adds over 800 carefully curated new entries to the pools used to generate callsigns for your XCOM operatives when they reach the rank of Sergeant or above.

One of my favourite parts of XCOM has always been the procedural storytelling and this mod should expand upon that to greatly increase the diversity and uniqueness of your soldiers across multiple playthroughs.

Sources of inspiration include mythology and heroic fantasy, militaria past, present and future(?), Sci-Fi and Video Games, westerns and monster movies, the animal kingdom, and pop culture phrases and concepts. As XCOM is a multicultural organisation not all names have an english root but they should still be mostly recognisable.

*Usual mod disclaimer: Whilst this is a very simple mod, it is still a fan made mod, and not official content. Use at your own risk.

*Updated for War of the Chosen. Preliminary pass at diversifying the pools for Reapers, Skirmishers and Templars.

How do I get this to work with the Long War 2 classes? Really, I'd just like the whole pool to be available to any class, do I just delete [Ranger X2SoldierClassTemplate] and the others to open them up or what?

Awesome, thank you.

Yes, you can either simply replace Lyrae's entries or expand them.

Just subscribe to this mod, browse to it, open up xcomgame.int within localisation.

Arrays names for Proficiency Class: https://pastebin.com/P05P2CWt

Alright, so do I essentially just replace "[AssaultRS X2SoldierClassTemplate]" with the custom class name? I'm using almost exclusively the Proficiency Class Pack, so if I simply paste the class names from that mod's ini into the ClassTemplates, it'll work?

No, it does not work for custom classes except for Lucubrations Infantry Class. You need to manually add custom classes.

I've created entries for Richard's Classes Redux, check out my pastebin entry a few posts down. Feel free to adapt it - simply paste it beneath Lyrae's entries within this mod directory.

Does this work for custom classes too?

This needs the WotC tag thing. Doesn’t show when filtered by WotC.

Is it possible to get this for RPGO Soldier class? Can I just make it work by changing all the classes to "Solider" in the "xcomgame.int" file?

@Oudi28 - Navigate to:
\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1129464749\Localization

Open the file 'xcomgame.int' with notepad.
You can add/edit this to your hearts content, just save the changes.
