Era - 1990s - WCW

There are few wrestlers who carry a truly mythical quality about them. For Meng, his ferocious persona in the ring may very well be exceeded by the stories of his extracurricular escapades. That is not to demean Meng's resume in the ring, although he only won the WCW Hardcore title, and had a decently successful team with the Barbarian in the Faces of Fear, he was always a threat to even the best on the roster.

Meng may very well have been to pro wrestling what Charley Burley was to boxing: the man nobody wanted to face, the one that champions avoided at all costs.
