Welcome to the most important city Earth has ever seen.

New Mombasa by Synchronex. Heavily inspired by the infamous city from the Halo games, namely Halo 2 and Halo 3 ODST. The map itself is incomplete as my Hard drive died with a newer save. However, the main island exists along with a small bit of Old Mombasa. Please check out the YouTube series if you want to see how the whole city was built and modelled.

With the world's first Orbital Elevator, the busiest shipping port, the most efficient road network & public transport, a one mile long suspension bridge, a full municipal centre including power and water utilities, Coastal highway, Waterfront Highway, ONI Alpha Site, Animal and plant reserve, Parks and recreation and one of the biggest air/spaceports in the world. This is The City of New Mombasa.

A note to the fans:

Thank you for joining me on this epic journey to recreate the infamous city of New Mombasa of the Halo series of games, specifically Halo 2 and Halo 3: ODST.

It's been over a year since the beginning and I'm proud to say the main city is complete, with minimal parts of Old Mombasa on each bank to boot.

The journey is not quite over, there is but one more video for this beloved city, "the making of" documentary style "Mapping New Mombasa" will take us in-depth, behind the scenes; the locations, the paths of the player in each Halo game, how the map was conceived and how accurate it really is by comparison.

Please feel free to leave suggestions or ideas for the next city for me to build.

and, Thank You.

Queue the smooth depressing jazz with moderate rainfall in the dead of night.
Ahh, good times.

It seems a lot of the assets that this mod is dependent on no longer exist, planning any future updates? Because as of right now I can't get it to run properly.

The next city I build will NOT have nearly as many mod dependencies, I may, however re-visit New Mombasa to update it, removing alot of mod dependencies and Remaster the entire city. I just do not want to attempt that yet ;)

Also, some of the mod requirements need DLC. Any way to remove those dependencies?

Well, one suggestion would be to put the required mods in a collection, so people just have to click one button to install everything.

Please suggest ways to improve the mod requirement side of things here, I'm not sure how at this moment.

You might want to use Network Extensions 2 for this, Since some people have the Disasters and the first version breaks disasters.
