Description
Key Features.
Ohhhh pretty
The floor is covered in moss so it is slippery
Fire hot, Fire burn

NOTE###
This map sometimes crashes on end of the game at map rotation time this is due to the clean up done at the end of the map not cleaning up custom emitters this may or may not have been resolved

If you find any bugs or exploits please let me know so i can fix them

Yes all my servers have a script to auto-restart after crash so I should be fine.....the map rotation isn't really a force rotation per se, but rather players are able to pick which maps they want to play on rather than the server auto-picks the next one in sequence.

So what are you doing nowadays now that you're no longer producing maps for KF?

If you can get the server to auto restart then you could put it at the end of the map rotation and it would crash then restart at the beginning.
it's a cool map but if its causing to many problems then just remove it.

It annoys me as much as it annoys you since theres nothing i can do about it.
Short of remaking the entire map from scratch and not using custom emitters which would make the map pretty bland.

All of my work now gets backed up to online storage but all the KF stuff is sitting on some HDD somewhere possibly.

oh....so then if you were to remove all the emitters to fix this, then the map would look like it was in beta with missing or unpainted textures/static meshes?

So I guess deal with it or remove from map rotation due to the random crash.....insteresting proposition....

Well I thought mappers like you always keep a backup along with all source to the project in case you ever come back to it or someone wants to build on top of it....or use the source to port over to another game for example or something....

Im pretty sure that every partical in there is custom
Glowing Circles
Fireflys
Grass when stalkers drop down
Fire? i dont remember if those were custom or stock
Rolling Fog again dont remember if those were custom

I also dont have any of the source anymore, i did make it 5+ years ago

Someone suggested, why don't you just remove all the custom emmitters altogether?

Its the garbage collection at the end of the map which is an engine level problem

Ah, I was wondering why it would crash sometimes and not other times.....is there no way to fix this?
