Play as Bastila

Description
Play as Bastila.

This mod lets you play with Bastila's looks!

It replaces one of the female heads, this one[imgur.com], clothing and portraits with Bastila's for every class.

Please note that it does not have dark side transitions, but it does now use the original portrait, properly upscaled and cleaned up.

How do I choose her?

At character creation, it should be right there!

Please note that the head and portrait will always show up at character creation but the robes depend entirely on if the game has chosen to load the model in one of the three classes within the character creation screen. This is just a visual glitch glitch that is hardcoded into the game though.

Alternatively by editing your savegame. Appearance is: P_FEM_C_SML_01, P_FEM_C_MED_01 or P_FEM_C_LRG_01 depending on your character class, (SML=consular, MED=sentinel, LRG=guardian) and the portrait is: po_pfhc01

How do I get her robes?

2 ways!

By default, any normal clothing item, like this one[imgur.com] equipped on a female player character will look like Bastila's robe. This is done through the modified appearance.2da file, which is fully compatible with the restoration mod. If at any point this method stops working, simply re-subscribe to the mod and that should fix it!

Alternatively you can also get Bastila's robe[imgur.com] by typing this command on the console "giveitem a_robe_137" without quotes. This item has 1 point of defense, 1 point of force regeneration and it can be upgraded like other jedi robes, so it's a little better balanced for the whole game!

Console hotkey is usually ~ but it varies depending on the language setting. To enable console add the following line on your swkotor2.ini file under the [Game Options] section "EnableCheats=1" without quotes.

Can I use this mod on the mobile version of the game?

Yes! I'm still testing it but it seems to work perfectly fine. And as always it is compatible with the restoration project version of the mod too. In order to install it you have to copy the mod's files to this folder "Android\data\com.aspyr.swkotorii\files\override" on your phone. Please note that you might have to create both the "files" and "override" folder.

About the original underwear.

If her underwear stops showing at some point, or doesn't appear, in-game then it's likely that you're using a mod that also uses the appearance.2da file, most likely the restoration project mod. To never have to re-subscribe to the mod again simply copy the appearance.2da file from my "Play as Bastila" mod's folder ( Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\1144989479\override ) to the Restoration Project's override folder. And that's all!

Please consider giving this mod a like and a favorite if you enjoyed it!

Have fun!

That sounds like a conflict with another mod yes, you will have to check your subscribed mods and figure it out one by one.

Her face is absolutely messed up She has a pair of lips on her chin and just below her nose. They eyes are blank skin color. Deleted all of my mods and then reinstalled. Is this incompatible with anything that might be causing that?

The armor has transparency issues because it's missing a txi file. Without a txi file the alpha channel of the tga files will be transparent in game. With a txi file it defines what parts of the armor are shiny. That is used for metal or leather materials.

To fix that you need add the txi files to your override (or mod) folder. A txi file is just a text file with a txi extention.

Files:
P_BastilaBB01.txi
P_BastilaBB02.txi
P_BastilaBB03.txi

Contents of each file:
envmaptexture cm_baremetal

If you subscribe to a mod in Steam workshop then Steam downloads the mod automatically if your game is installed in your PC.
