Thereore there is no need to do port forwarding any longer.
The only way to play SC:C online now is through vLAN such as Tunngle or Hamachi.
You still add friends using their uplay name, to invite them as normal for coop - but there is no "random" joining for, eg, Faceoff matches.
Also, if uninstall the game or lose your save file - any rewards from the Uplay shop will no longer appear in game - you will lose everything. Ubi will refund the spent uplay points, but you will not get the SCAR or uniform back. Infiltration mode appears to be available only through DLC.
The 3rd Echelon HQ MP map is no longer obtainable using the code.
Many older Ubi games that used Uplay beta now do not have matchmatking working and some have reset character/game progress, eg, Rainbow 6: Vegas 2.
