Religious Pack ('Parks' with Religious Themes)

Description
The Religious Pack consists of three small buildings from three major world religions. There is a Masjid (Mosque), Christian Church, and a Buddhist Temple. Each of these lots are Park / Decor Lots so they should not spawn with the regular city, but should just be placed for decoration to increase lot values. (1x2 / 2x1 lotsize)

All lots are separate, and are up to you to place whichever you would like :-)

The Church / Cathedral
I designed it so that it does not look particularly denominational per se. So it could sort of function as like an Old Church in a historic part of town, or it can be a basic Cathedral. It's rather neutral as far as church designs go, but I did try to keep with an Old Style look for it to resemble a mix between Catholicism, German Protestant, and Anglican faiths.

The Masjid (Mosque) مسجد
A little bit “cartoony” on execution of the project given space I tried to fit, but this works decently well as a neighborhood Mosque. I tried to put common features of Islamic architecture, such as pointed arches, columns, muqarnas, domes, sahns, mihrabs, and minarets; and I think it came out as a decently nice mix of all of those features. I tried to get the front of the Mosque to say “Masjid" in Arabic, which I thought would look pretty cool for immersion effects.

The Temple
Initially, I tried to go for a Byodo-In Temple Look, and then I decided to mesh features of Chinese and Japanese architectural styles. It works as sort of a nonspecific temple, as it does exhibit design styles from both cultures, but the heavy influence of Japanese styling is still there.

Note: The towers are not climbable. They are too small for me to put a good staircase inside the minaret, roof of the temple, and tower features in the church. Sorry about this.

the program XSplit Broadcaster. Registration gmail.com - it will be logged in YouTube. The program allows you to broadcast or make a video-to broadcast just need to log in on YouTube and all. . Or program Bandicam - it allows you to make video less powerful - because in the beginning YouTube channel limits the size of the rollers.

I made a quick Guide for lot-style building and uploading, but I will need to update it should you want to add stuff with basements. At the present, there is a version of a video on YouTube called General Curmudgeon’s LotPack Tutorial: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=L3DVhESic20 I could try to upload my own videos, but I’ve never used YouTube before as my own channel, so I’ll have to figure out how to get that to work, and record screen with my own talking XD

A big request-to shoot a video how to create a building and how to add them to the workshop on steam

Nikolai_Bukav,

I hope you do all of those! Each of them could be great in their own special way.

I was originally planning on doing a synagogue for this Pack. And I still may end up doing so. I was also thinking of adding a Pagoda at some point, then possibly even a Byzantine / Orthodox Church, and then a Roman Temple and a Greek Temple. Those I thought would be fun and would be directly added to this pack.

Nikolai_Bukav,
Great decor lots. They look really beautiful. Maybe you could also try your hand at making a synagogue.

Rundown, I just posted -- as its own separate lot -- for what I would imagine is the "run of the mill" church for your small town. Enjoy! And Happy Building!

Sure thing. I'll go ahead and add one as its own small building. Not sure when I'll get it though!

Can you make a small town church? Something less grand? I cannot imagine a small town without your average run of the mill church, thanks buddy!
