As the never ending amount of zombies on screen increase, your frame rate does the polar opposite.

THIS IS A MUTATION. NOT A SIMPLE MOD TO DOWNLOAD. It is titled "Never Ending Hordes" in the mutation menu. You can play this mod with cheats using the console and typing "map (mapnamehere) neverend". "neverend" is the mutation name.

What does this mod do? This mod is another one of those super horde mods, but there is a twist. Usually with a regular super horde type mod there would be an extremely long delay before spawning more zombies. Not with this mod. They will endlessly spawn and spawn, making the game indirectly very difficult. It spawns (on default) up to 500 zombies normally. A horde will also spawn 500 zombies. You are given a huge amount of ammo to slaughter the zombie horde. There are also some extra commands that you can see down here.

Download GCFscape, open the Left 4 Dead 2 game files, navigate to the addons/workshop/ folder. Look for this mod, open the .vpk in GCFscape. Drag and drop the root folder to copy it onto your drive. Edit values in the mod to your liking (what you want to do is very easy number changes). Rename the root folder and drag and drop it onto the bin/vpk.exe executable in the game files. Now, drop it in the addons folder. Done.

is it okay if you make a version with 250 zombie limit and 200 mob size? itll probably be roughly the same experience with half of the lag

I was trying to figure something out how the cvars work? can a cvar inside a vpk file override the sv cheats 1? In which I mean you dont have to enter sv_cheats 1 to execute the z_etc. cvars? Or maybe thats why this is was made to a mutation as the coop game mode does not support cvars that has a dependency on sv_cheats 1? Thanks for answering...

While running this mod I also noticed increased spawn rates for hordes on regular levels too.

This mod somehow breaks The Passing finale, and possibly other gascan finales too. It causes never-ending hordes to spawn during the finale on a local server, even if playing campaign/realism

Dear God Almighty OhMyBeJesus for a Mutation like this is crazy the amount of zombies wave after wave is 500 making my computer lag and framerate starts to drop below 30fps at the same time this almost does look like World War Z game

You can download the Admin System mod and kill all the bots when you spawn in. Or you can start the map in console using, "map {mapnamehere} neverend" and then typing "nb_delete_all Survivor" in console
