Description
Welcome engineers to the RCSP - Dauntless, a heavy armored Fast Attack Craft (FAC) Ready to be used in survival!

The Dauntless is designed for fast attack runs or long range shots using the rocket launcher on the front.
This ship uses no mods and was designed to be used in survival maps/servers.

This Ship Includes the following:

Blocks: 596 _ Non-Armor blocks:147 _ Weight: 837,398 Kg

1x Small Reactor

7x Batteries

4x Oxygen Generators filling up 1x Hydrogen Tank

2x Missile and Gatling Turrets, 4x Interior turrets

1x Rocket Pod with front facing camera for aiming

I managed to fit in a medical room, next time your online I can pass you a copy and you can have a look it it will fit or not with what you want to do with the design.

I like that Idea, I should also add a projector to help with the autorepairs! :steamhappy:

Ok I've had a chance to look at the redesign, nice improvements! I would recommend having a welder to repair the hydrogen tank, that would give the tank some more survivability.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll see if I can lighten her up (it's a shame keen armor is so damn haeavy or so fragile), as for the med bay it's the same dilemma I had when trying to add a jump drive; not enough space to fit it all. I'll add in a cryo pod though and a grav gen along with some light armor bits to make it a true FAC!

For a fast attack craft she's awful heavy and has slow acceleration. But it can take a pounding on a strafing run. It also lacks a medical room, which on a server can be a major issue if you have disconnects. Plus there is no way for the pilot to replenish his oxygen supply, as there is no conveyored cockpit or air vent with in the ship.

The overall design concept of the ship is sound and in combat testing the ship can be quite effective. However the ship at a minimum need a medical room and some way to get oxygen to the pilot. This ship has great potential with a bit of modification, and once that is done this ship will be a force to be reckoned with.

This ship is designed to be made once you have a base so you can use it as the main charging dock, the small reactor is a backup just incase you do a long trip and don't make it back... but with 7 batteries I doubt youll run out of electricity too fast. Since you have Ions facing all directions you dont have to always use hydrogen unless you need to pull fast maneuvers or need a boost. Ive used this on a friends dedicated server and it lasted pretty well :steamhappy:

Looks cool, but I doubt it will be good for constant use - either batteries will run dry since single reactor will be recharging those too long or ice/hydrogen will run out way too fast. There is chance that ship will be left dry in the water.
Won't it be better to substitute an oxygen generator with couple more reactors? Ice runs out faster then uranium and is more failure prone (due to conveyor destruction or the likes) making power more important for survivability and long term use.
