Wow, that's really cool! I've never seen him live, let alone met him, but I do credit him with my fascination for masked wrestlers.

Damn that's cool. Mil is more of a business man than I think an actual prick. Very protective of his gimmick. Shit he's in his 70s and still won't sell. Also won't sign bootleg masks but he did sign my copy of Fire Pro after staring at it in what felt like an eternity.

The IWA was my first regular (ongoing) exposure to televised wrestling, in about 1975 when I was 8 years old. I think it's why I grew up fascinated with Mil Mascaras (who I understand is otherwise kind of a prick). :)

I love tidbits like that. He seemed to hold tag gold every where but The Kalmikoffs seemed to be the biggest run. I think he tagged with a young Gotch too.
