Era - 1990s - WWF / M-Pro / ECW / NJPW

A top junior heavyweight competitor around the world, TAKA was trained by the Great Sasuke, and took the name Michinoku to honor his trainer, using the name of his organization. TAKA wrestled around the Japanese independents, competed in the New Japan Best of the Super Juniors, appeared in ECW, but his claim to fame in the United States was becoming the original Light Heavyweight champion and bringing the Kaientai stable to WWF.
