2014 NYPD Chevrolet Impala

The last generation impala is almost a rarity among police force these days. Despite being overshadowed by the new Explorers, Tahoes, and Chargers, a few of them still found their way into public service. NYPD uses a few of these, though they are on their way out, like the Crown Victoria.

All NYPD vehicles carry no flares. Lights DO flash during emergency responses, as explained in the second photo. However, the in game flares do not work well with rotating lights, so I buried the flares deep into the ground. This is NOT a bug.

Use Service Vehicle Selector or Service Vehicle Manager (my preferred utility) to set police/prison vehicles types for your stations/prisons.

Use Invisible Spawn Points to fine tune your spawning and create more realistic depots!

Stats are same as the default police car. Use Advanced Vehicle Options Mod to change it to fit your needs.

Lightbar derived from False Lucidity's 1980 Police Car. However, texture was done by meticulously stitching together images to lend realism to the non translucent lightbar. Vehicle base derived from LAPD Impala. Redone mapping to allow for higher definition double sided textures. NYPD Textures based from real life photos.
