If you are using windows, the location of your save folder is here:

C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\LocalLow\Robot Invader\

You will need to back up your save folder several times throughout this guide if you want to unlock all of the achievements on one playthrough.

To back up your save folder, simply copy the Dead Secret folder from the location above to another location. When you are ready to restore from a backup, copy the Dead Secret folder that you backed up into the folder above and overwrite all files.

Achieve Ending D



After you explore the upstairs left room and open the chest with the dial puzzle, you will need to go across the hallway to the upstairs right room. At that time, Woodcutter will be coming up the stairs. Simply let Woodcutter reach you, whether it's in the stairway or in the upstairs rooms. If Woodcutter reaches you, the game will be over and you will unlock Ending D. You will be able to continue the game from just after you opened the chest but before you left the upstairs left room.

If you escape Woodcutter this time, you can unlock this achievement when you enter the kitchen after calibrating the moon machine. Woodcutter will come out of the bathroom and the achievement will unlock if you do not hide in time.

Back up your save folder after unlocking Ending D!

Achieve Ending C



After you successfully escape Woodcutter the first time by exiting the house through the window in the right upstairs room, look at the ground near the hatchet where it says "Leave". You need to specifically look with the magnifying glass at the word "Leave". Then look to the left alongside the house and use the "walk" icon. You may need to click through a few dialogs before your character will leave the house.

Restore your backed-up save files after you achieve this ending to continue the game.

After you unlock the freezer in the basement, you will enter it. After that cutscene, you will find yourself in a hallway. Back up your save files when you reach this hallway!

Achieve Ending B




Go down the hallway and through the door at the end. You are presented with a table, photos of the four suspects, and four keys, one for each suspect. Choose the key for anyone except Josie Herrera to unlock this achievement.

Achieve Ending A




Restore your backed-up save files after you achieved ending B.

Go down the hallway and through the door at the end. You are presented with a table, photos of the four suspects, and four keys, one for each suspect. Choose the key for Josie Herrera. Continue through the last section until you see Josie Herrera lying under a pile of boards. DO NOT save Josie Herrera - instead, continue through the double doors to unlock this achievement.

Achieve Ending S




Restore your backed-up save files after you achieved ending A.

Go down the hallway and through the door at the end. You are presented with a table, photos of the four suspects, and four keys, one for each suspect. Choose the key for Josie Herrera.Continue through the last section until you see Josie Herrera lying under a pile of boards. Save Josie Herrera by clicking on the boards and then clicking on her. DO NOT click on the double doors. Click only on the boards and Josie and you will unlock this achievement.
