Atlas' More Interesting Civics and Policies

Description
Part of the Atlas Mod Pack. Changes Civics (not the tree itself) to make them more interesting and better balanced with each other. Includes 47 new Policies and edits to vanilla Policies. This mod aims to make investing in culture more powerful (with or without also investing in science) and to bring Military and Diplomatic slots up to par with Economic slots when choosing between Government types. Hopefully it also spices up the endgame a bit, even when not going for a Cultural victory.

The pictures only show a few of the changes: check out the Change Notes tab at the top for a full list

There is a ton of content in this mod and I was unable to verify that all of the changes work correctly or are balanced. I also didn't really have time to write out very good civilopedia entries or be super picky about names for policies. I appreciate bug reports and feedback!

@pauloel7 Sorry, I've just been way too busy. Might not get around to it for a long time...

Hey Atlas, just dropping by, wishing you might be considering an update... Cheers!

@pauloel7 I tried to be as thorough as possible in the descriptions without overloading them. I don't think "Nature's Bounty" is one of my changes, though.

Oops, my bad - think those bonuses were coming from your tech mod. =)

Completeness of information - possibly some policies intearcting for effects not described in the tooltip is my suspicion. Believe "Nature's Bounty" and "Mass Transit" might be one case.

@pauloel7 When you say it would be nice to have the full info on the policy descriptions, as opposed to vanilla, what do you mean? I try to use tooltips similar to vanilla tooltips whenever possible, though I try to use the best styles only (sometimes vanilla is really obtuse).

Sure. As a side comment for your next update: I've been playing a campaign (without this mod) where I'm getting a 285% bonus to production and food and some 60% to gold I have no clue where are coming from. I'm guessing there must be some sinergetic interaction btw policies in democracy? Not sure... anyways, I'm just saying that when you get your hand to this again, it would be really nice to have the full info on the policie descriptions, as opposed to vanilla. Cheers!

@pauloel7 I responded to you in the thread. Thanks for the bug report. I am not currently working on the R&F version of the mod, but it is on the agenda.

I'm also struggling with CTD with this mod - notes on the discussion thread. Am no mac and vanilla game. Is there another more up to date version of this mod or are you working on this one?

I have received confirmations that this mod does not crash for some users. I cannot find any plausible source of the CTD bug. If you are having this bug, I would greatly appreciate troubleshooting logs in the CTD bug thread linked above. Sorry for the hassle!
