Detonate a shell while wearing a SH-20. Until it recharges, your shield will be lost and you will be unable to use this method again.

Not shown in the video, however, it works much like the Sh-20 with the exception that you are, of course, displaced. Also like the SH-20, you will be unable to use it again until it recharges.

This can be risky if you don't know what you're doing (but that's what we're here for), however, it's not hard to learn or get consistent at.

Unlike the other options, going prone to avoid death when detonating a shell requires a specific setup. First, go to the outer edge of the shell (If you're in the middle of the shell when you try this, it won't matter where you go prone; you will die.)

Next, detonate the shell and go prone AWAY from it. If you go prone INTO the explosion, it won't matter if you were positioned correctly beforehand; again, you will die.)

That's pretty much it: start at the edge and go prone away from the explosion.
