Description
This download contains three similar 1x1 structures which use the default 1x1 low-density residential template. They're built to encroach on the road and, when, zoned together will grow touching each other in the style of a row.

Since I did the Newfie row house I've gotten a few requests for more. To be honest, I wasn't all that happy with how it turned out, the first one. The scale was off compared to the source buildings and I had only done a limited amount of asset creation. So I went back and revisited it. I'd like to do a RICO corner matching these buildings and should probably have that done some time next week. Eventually, I'd like to expand the designs with higher-level structures.

Asset stats:
House 1
Main mesh: 1,330 tris
LoD: 60 tris

House 2
Main mesh: 1,057 tris
LoD: 58 tris

House 3
Main mesh: 1,342 tris
LoD: 62 tris

All textures are 1,024 and 128.
One entry prop per house, nothing else. No dependencies or DLC required.

About:
These houses are intended to emulate those found in St. John's Newfoundland, in the Jellybean Row part of the city. You can see here[www.google.ca] the look that I was going for.

Let me know if something goes awry with the download. I've subbed to the asset myself and all of the individual buildings are appearing in my content manager as per usual.

Or, if you see anything else, I'll try to fix it.

Oh yeah... the Sketchfab previews - Do you folks like those or would you prefer more screenshots? I'm always going to show you the best shot of the asset regardless - but I think Sketchfab's a nice way to give an honest first impression - C:S and Unity tend to mangle things a bit. Problem is, Sketchfab doesn't work so well within the Steam app sometimes. I get errors myself in Steam.

Thanks!

@Tomb. I haven't used the procedural objects mod mod yet. I'm very intrigued by it.

When I said scale, I meant... well, you know when you want to draw something and you draw it from your head instead of using a reference you get something that looks nothing like what you wanted? It's that sort of thing. I didn't pay proper attention to my reference in the original asset and I got a brain candy version of it. It works in C:S, but I'm not above iteration if it means better work.

Thanks for the compliment and the feedback!

Yay, rowhouses! Thank you! And I agree with Mr Miyagi, your talent is growing by leaps and bounds (but I still very much like and use your Newfie houses!).

A for scale, yeah, it's a pain-in-the-butt in CSL. However, dont stress about it too much. Between asset resizing in the asset tool and "realtime" resizing using the "Precdural Objects" mod, I can fix scale to my own personal liking as and if I need it. In practice, as an "end-user" I try to use 1:1 scaled assets in low density areas and 1:1.5 scaled assets for highrises. Wherever I have a mix of "small" and "big" buldings, I defualt everytihng towards 1:1.5, which means I have to screw around with the editing tools but it's worth it.

Keep up ithe good work!

@MrMiyagi - Thanks, I appreciate that. Thing is though, the more you do this, the more you realize how little you actually know about it.

This is fantastic. Your talent has skyrocketed from that first Newfie house. Every time I see a new East Coast house from you I run to the page and mash that subscribe button :D
