Tested and confirmed 100% Achievement Compatible in 2.0 Cherryh!

The intention with this collection was to keep achievements active while expanding the vanilla game to be more diverse. Each and every mod has been tested by myself concurrently and I've triggered an achievement. A mod does not get added to this list if I haven't personally tested it and confirmed Ironman compatibility. The 2.0 game creation screen should accurately tell you if your game will be Achievement Compatible, however I've still tested everything and won't post unless I personally gain an achievement with all the mods.

Even if achievements aren't your thing this modpack is a great start to extending Stellaris via mods. The vast majority of the mods in this pack won't interfere with other mods and only help to add variety to the galaxy.

I wanted this to be a seamless experience, as if you handed this to a new player they wouldn't know it was modded whatsoever. If there was a conflict or an "immersion breaking" nuance I fixed it. The current version of this collection is almost perfectly seamless, with a few minor nuances. I am still working on this and still have a decent list of things I'd like to add and fix. (see detailed list at the end). If you find a bug, however nitpicky, please let me know and I'll try and fix it.

The AI will use all of the mods for their empires; portraits, backgrounds, emblems, colors, dimorphism, etc. Here is a rough sampling[imgur.com] of the species and flags the AI creates with these mods enabled. I tried to show both the good and the bad. (it's slightly outdated at the moment but still gives you a decent idea)

I have tested the game with each and every mod in this list simultaneously and I have triggered an achievement[imgur.com]. (also slightly outdated at the moment but the collection is still tested)

Pretty much every mod in this pack is optional if you don't prefer it. Some you might want to take a look at to decide:

• The "Tiny" series (i.e. Tiny Outliner, Tiny Ship Components, etc)
  
• Smaller Resource Icons
  
• Dark UI Series (Including Blue Buttons, and all the compatibility fixes)
  
• Color coded pop status icons
  
• UI Overhaul 1080p Plus

Any of the above mods should be able to be swapped in and out without negatively affecting your save file.


Many of these mods will show up as out of date in the launcher. They ALL work in 2.0 (either due to the fix mods I put together or just because nothing has changed in the code to break them). You can either ignore the warning, or I have created a Quick Outdated Mod Notification Suppresion[www.dropbox.com] zip file. (NOTE! As of right now the QOMNS is still for 1.9. I'll make one for 2.0 after a few days to give the mod creators time to update.) Full instructions are included but all you have to do is replace the .mod files in the /mod directory. This is up to date as of Jan 23rd 2018 and I will do my best to keep it up to date as new mods are added.

Alternatively, you can remove the notifications by going to:

• Windows: ~\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod\
  
• GNU/Linux: ~/.local/share/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/
  
• Mac: ~/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/

opening the files in notepad one by one until you find the appropriate file and change the version number at the bottom to 1.9.*. It takes ages, which is why I made the quick download.


Dark UI has a built in mod called Colour Coded Messages. If you don't want to use Dark UI but want the color coded messages you can find that standalone mod here.

Color coded pop status icons comes in a colorblind (red/green) variant here.

If you have suggestions of mods to add to this pack that are achievement compatible I'd love to hear them!

Massive thanks goes to the creators of all the original mods! This collection would be nothing if not for the hard work of many people.

If you are having trouble triggering achievements remember that many things can turn them off. Anything that isn't a clean install with the mods on this list could shut it off. If you're still having issues let me know and I'll try to help.


Definitely doable:

• Fix bug with female Angler Fish clothing
  
• Fix Improved Music Player graphic bugs with Dark UI and add IMP and the fix to the list
  
• Update QOMNS for 2.0
  
• Get more up to date species examples
  
• Fix transparency bug with a few Extended Vanilla Clothing images
  
• Get a list of mods that are achievement compatible but didn't make the cut for this collection for one reason or another

Should be doable:

• Make it so when switching between gold and silver emblems the emblems appear in the same spot
  
• Apply Extended Vanilla Clothes to the Humanoids DLC
  
• Find more cool stuff to add

We'll see what happens:

• Get Extended Vanilla Clothes to work with all the dimorphisized female portraits
  
• Get Wick's Human Outfits to play nicely with Vanilla portraits and Extended Vanilla Clothes
  
• Add as many portraits from Extended Synthetic Dawn Portraits as possible while keeping achievements
