Thank you to all the folks who contributed to the THCRAP patch tool: nmlgc, brliron, DankRank, Mokou, devinacker, tirr-c, gitter-badger.

All credit to the above. Below I will try to give a clear and simple walk through to installing their patches.

1) Download latest THCRAP from here:
https://github.com/thpatch/thcrap/releases

2) Create a new folder within your game install folder and name it TPCRAP.
-By default, the game is located in "c:\program files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\th16"

3) Extract all files in the ZIP to the new folder created, then run "thcrap_configure.exe"

4) Press enter on the welcome screen, and a list of translations will show

5) For english, chose the option "lang_en English Language Pack" as of writing, this is [27] - So type 27 and hit enter.

6) Press enter again to confirm selection, then it will ask to name your configuration, just press enter again for default.

7) Then you arrive at game location screen. Pressing enter here will open a windows folder dialog box. Select your game directory and click OK.

8) The patch will generate a shortcut for running the game in english. This shortcut will be placed in the folder THCRAP was extracted to.

OPTIONAL 9) Add as a non-steam game so it may be run via steam. Select the new file 'th16 (en)' created in your TPCRAP folder. When it is run the actual game gets loaded, so steam will still track your hours and display you as being in game normally.

DONE - Now running the shortcut should load the game with all current english translations. Translations are auto-updated via the launcher. If you get stuck at any point please click the top link to the thpatch.net page for more information.
