This video will guide you how to use Admin-Mod for CS 1.6 as well as other HL1 mods. What you need is AdminMod v2.50.60 i386 .tar file and Metamod v1.19 i386 or better. You can download it from Command Line Terminal or via Linux web browser.

This is Linux Unbuntu 10.04, Intel Dual Core x86. Now if you have a AMD64 chipset Linux Dedicated server then the i386.so engines won't work.

Simply watch this video and note the important files and folders to edit and add.

Once you are finish go to the terminal and use "./hlds_run" and hey presto!

One final thing, if you have a 64bit Linux server and you need to compile your plugins, you will need to use the "-32" added after you type "./compile_all" in Terminal Shell - other the plugins will be compiled as AMD64 binaries.

The advantage of AdminMod is that it is less trafficking and can be useful for CS 1.6 match servers as they have the critical commands like setting passwords and friendlyfires and teamplay without using rcon. It is important for your CS 1.6 match server to not have any interferaces or too many addons or cause overcfg crashes etc.

Plus it maybe wise to have VAC secured on your CS 1.6 server as PC criminals could hijack your Steam Account and end up irreversibly VAC banned.
