Jack made a pretty cool mod back in the day, I fixed the issue with the teleporter.
Changes the appearance of the novakid ship.

Changelog:
1.1: Updated teleporter.
1.2: Fixed a small issue.
1.3: Tier 9 and 10 ships mod by SingABrightSong

Please report if there are any bugs, I still do not know if tier 9 and 10 ships work, maybe that mod has a higher priority, thus using the textures from that mod rather than this mod.

You'll have to extract the mod with the tool provided in your Starbound installation directory, then you can change the priority in one of the files. Keep in mind that you can break compatibility with the dynamic fuel hatch (and theme), it's better to change the priority of the other mod that you use.

I'm having the same problem but I don't even know how to access the meta data to fix it. I'm using the crusader AI and I get the "deus vult" audio but the S.A.I.L is just the generic sail one. How do I change the priority of a mod?

If I recall correctly, the other mod should have a higher priority than this mod in order to overlay on top of the SAIL from this mod. The priority of this mod is set to 200 (the dynamic fuel hatch theme has priority 203).
This means that the SAIL mod should have a priority of 201 or higher to properly overlay.
The priority can be found in the _metadata file from the mod when decompressed.
