Description
Era - 1970s - Boxing - Heavyweight

One of the most feared, powerful, dangerous men in the history of the Heavyweight division, Big George Foreman was seen as unbeatable at the apex of his career. Possessing an iron chin, and hands more akin to sledgehammers than typical human appendages, Foreman demolished a long line of foes on his way towards challenging Joe Frazier for the World Heavyweight title.

Frazier, undefeated himself at the time, was no match for Foreman, who treated him like so many others, finishing him for the belt. Foreman would also beat the ever-tough Ken Norton before facing Muhammad Ali in Kinshasa, Zaire (DR Congo), in a fight titled "The Rumble in the Jungle." Ali would put on a master class in mind games and manipulation to defeat Foreman, wearing him down over eight rounds to win.

Foreman would go on to wage a brutal war with the hard-hitting Ron Lyle, and crush Frazier one more time before losing to Jimmy Young, and leaving the world of boxing.
