A Few Easy Steps

A Typhoon Launcher with at least 2 rounds in it and a weapon are all you need for this to work.
When she charges you, launch the Typhoon. This will stun her for long enough to unload a clip into her. I use the shotgun for this, but in theory a revolver or combat rifle will do the trick. When she runs away, find her and launch the Typhoon once again (you may have to wait until your battery is recharged or eat something). Then, hit her until she dies!

I used Typhoon as cinematic ended, and second when I could (hitting F2 until it triggered animation). And when she was stunned, Heavy Rifle to the face.

Should have said in my comment that timing is crucial; I needed to reload a number of times to get it just right so I didn't take damage.

There are a number of ways to beat Yelena and a variety of weapons you can use, but my preferred way is with 5 frag mines. You don't need to spend praxis points on anything, and they only take up 6 squares in the inventory. video

I never shot her once. I stunned her, turned invisible and destroyed the power generators to electrucute her until she died.

I used P.EP.S. and an instantly happened game glitch. She stand still and didn't do anything. Killed with silenced pistol ^^

If you have the stealth mod which allows you to mark and track her, her invisibility aug is useless. Also if you hit her with the tazer she's usually stunned for long enough to eat a frag mine or two, and wash it down with a cold cup of bullets.

I love the RL but I hate carrying it - takes too much space and is often not worth it.

I shot at her with the rocket launcher, with heat seeking mod, and the heavy rifle.

stun-gun + pistol headshots is the simplest way. you will need nor health, neither more energy. just a tuned pistol + bullets. easy!
