Gautrek Family Tree Fix

Description
Welcome Gautrek back into the ruling family of the Geats!

Gautrek, while he is a legitimate son of Gauti and grandson of faction leader Dag, was incorrectly listed under "Other Nobles" in vanilla. The issue wasn't only visual, it also caused him to not have access to any political actions.

Me and my small OCD side decided that this issue was important enough to edit the startpos for it. Since there are others who might find it important enough, I decided to upload this to Steam for others to use. With this mod, Gautrek is a fully functioning family member - as an added bonus, his poor deceased wife is now honored with a portrait in your family tree as well.

Note that this is a startpos edit, meaning it is not save compatible, nor can it be used with others mods that change the startpos, most notably the TPY mods. I made a 12 TPY version as well, which can be found here.

I think he edited no tables. He made the mod with Assembly Kit. And this bug is fixed in the Kit. Religions can be changed very easy in the dropdown menue.

Do you by any chance remember which tables you edited? I’m trying to make these changes while changing the religion on a couple factions but I can’t seem to find out where you were able to remove him from the “other nobles” group. X.x

Thank you for fixing this bug. I had to assassinate Gautrek for that reason :D
Didnt know anyone else noticed

Hi Snowieken,
thank you again for letting me use your mod in the Community Patch Project! :)

I've created an AddOn for the Community Patch that incorporates your fix as well as 3dahs' ERE Invisible Daughter fix. You are, of course, credited and linked to in the description. :)

Here's a link to the mod:

@littleShepherd: I'm looking for mods that fix parts of the game that are obviously broken like missing textures, models, animations, lighting, etc. while not changing the balance of the vanilla game.

If you want to contribute to the mod you're more than welcome. :)

littleShepherd: sorry, I think I missed your previous comment. I am not sure if I am aware of this children naming bug. In any case, at the moment my RL has taken over a little and I have very little time to play any Total War game, let alone commit to modding.

@OneWhoKnocks: I thought that was what I was doing! What areas are you working on? We should exchange work. I'm focused on garrisons, campaign AI and scaling challenge to player income and level.
@Snowieken: Your specialty is not my specialty. Let us know if you make any new discoveries with these children name bugs.

Thank you! I'll post a link to the mod once it is done. :)

Sure, go ahead :)

Hi!

I'm currently working on an unofficial community patch for Attila combining all the fixes I can find on the workshop as well making them all compatible with one another.

I'd like to get your permission to use your mod as part of the patch. You will of course be credited and linked to in the description. :)
