This brief guide will help you to get fast steam achievement

Steps

To get this achievement fast you should start Road To Independence chapter 2 campaign.
First mission is to make alliance with Iroquois confederation. Just propose alliance them. To save your time start building the Shipyard in the available port.
Next mission is Fort Duquesne. This mission will arise as soon as you will cross the border with french region on the way to Fort Niagara.
After getting the Fort Duquesne go straight to Fort Niagara. On this point you have 3 missions completed.
Now upgrade your Shipyard to Dockyard. Build Fifth Rate ship. On this point you will have 5 missions completed in several minutes.
Repeat this procedure until you get the achievement.

perfidious beast is simple all you need to do is form an alliance with a power then next turn attack while allied do this 5 times in one game. i would reccomend small powers like savoy or genoa, i dont know if u need to wipe them out but i did nyway

This guide still works in the new Empire version, just make sure you end the turn.

Hate using cheat guides, but if the author can answer how to get prifidious beast without cheating I'd appreciate it...

Are there even any missions in the grand campaign (except for helping your protectorate as Britain, France or Spain) ?
