The Worth Menu
Getting the right loadout before the game begins is very important if you wish to do well throughout the round.

You start with 100 worth points so you have to plan your shopping and make sure you make good use of all the other tabs apart from guns. The best thing to do is to purchase only one gun. What map you are on and how you wish to play will affect what you want to buy so dont expect to only have one loadout forever.

Once you purchase your gun it is then important to buy some suitable ammunition which will be turned into enough points to get you started with the arsenal crate if you do so correctly.
I normally buy just a 2 ammo pack instead of 3 because I can use those extra worth points for other usefull items.

It is always usefull to have a handy melee weapon in case you run out of ammo or dont have time to reload. Your best option here is to go either with a plank or knife. Plank will save you 5 worth points which may be crucial for your loadout and may help get a 3 ammo pack or some other item.

These items will give you bonuses which could end up saving your life or increasing your point gaining. If you wish to be one of those players who will stick around the zombie spawn for the first 2 waves and get as many points as you can your best option is to purchase both speed buffs. These are usefull for scavenging ammo, running to safety or gaining a significant advantage over zombies in close combat.

If you want the loadout which me, qwert or Taco use it's the following:
  • "Tosser" SMG
  • "Peashooter" P228
  • Combat Knife / Plank

Weapon Tree
If you want to make the most out of your points and get weapon upgrades as you progress through the round you will most likely have your own tree that you follow. Here is the most used tree by players. The idea is that you choose a weapon from each line and progress downwards once you have the points.

Tosser SMG / Blaster Shotgun / Stubber Rifle

Desert Eagle / Glock / Magnum

UMP / M4A1 / AUG

Adonis / M3 / Tiny Slug / Boomstick

Five Seven and TMP should only be chosen if you have plenty of ammo to spare as making a profit without a fair amount of scavenged ammo is difficult.

Getting a barricade kit if the cade is not lasting is always a good idea if you can spare the points on a greater deed

It's a good overview of the guns of zs. IMO, the dynamics of point-earning with the gun playstyle are more complex, though and adding some more would give the guide a lot more breadth. For example, weapon upgrade choice is influenced by:

- Your ability to make back the initial investment (Tip to new players: minimizing the # of purchases you make will improve your point earning game if you don't already pay attention to this, helped me a lot)

- Damage/shot/point spent ratios (Latter guns have better damage/point spent ratios, which forces a careful balancing of the need to upgrade vs the expense of investing on the player's part)

- The abilities of guns to compete for points (which is why qwert always seems to whore the Sweeper and not Adonis despite the latter being more expensive and sought-after; that secksy m3 always seems to get the killing hit on whatever you point it at)

Overall, great start. I think this guide can go far

What i always do is always buy a medkit with some extra medkit power, and the sugeon perk, but with the palsy and weak returns. After some time i buy a glock, which is the best handgun in my opinion, and i usually make around 300 points a game from this.
