DAC #14: Alternation

Omschrijving
Short level focused on transfers. Has a lot of blue and orange. Sorta reminiscent of Hardcore Black.

This level might be somewhat mediocre, since I kinda slapped this together in a week or something, but I figured a mediocre DAC map was better than no DAC map :P Happy holidays!

That being said I did have concerns about the skip I intentionally left in potentially being easier, but I mean, I literally threw this map together in a week on pretty short notice and did no playtesting, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I believe that should still be slower than doing it normally, though tbf I know of at least one that you can skip without really losing time, so it wouldn't really surprise me if there were a few more. I don't really care that much, admittedly. At least the route required for diamond should be harder than the track, and that's clearly all that matters :P

I wasn't skipping large chucks, I was just skipping every other transition, because they were so close together, I could just boost to the next one.

Ehh, I kinda see your point, but that should be much slower than just doing the transfers as intended, so you're pretty much penalizing yourself with a crutch. As long as the actual skip route isn't easier, which I don't think it is, I don't really see this as being a huge problem.

This has extremely rapid fire transfers. It was honestly easier to just to skip half of them and boost fly to the next track piece instead. It's usually harder to skip sections of a map, but this map was an exception where it was easier to just skip various chunks so that I wasn't having to transition so quickly.
