The Guide
This guide will go through all the different aspects of the game at its current state "christmas 2017"
The Game
Introduction
So the game is a pretty basic "management sim" game where you move your painters around your "guild" and make paintings and upgrade their skills. There's isn't really any end goals, missions or achievements but it's a fun little "flash" kinda game. I can't recommend paying the full 10$ price but if you have it from the humble christmas bundle, go for it's a fun little game to chill with.
Items
So to progress in the game are you gonna need some items to help you along the way.
I've categorieced them into 4 colours

Green:
the best items in my opinion
These items has the most value and you shouldn't really need any other items than these. I would suggest going for the big "paint mixer" since it boost paint and skill when used by +2 each. the "bed" is the second thing i think to focus on since it will help dramatically boost your efficiency and time needed to rest your painters (the bigger bed is more worth it). the last is the most expensive study item which is a little useless since you'r almost fine with the paint mixer, but if you have to many cash go for it.

Yellow:
doesn't affect gameplay alot buy as you see fit.
these increase prestige or other misc things and shouldnt really mather to much. spend money on them as you like.

Red:
no reason to buy these compared to the green ones.
these aren't really worth it but it might change in the future but as of now don't bother, focus on the items marked green instead for now.

Blue:
Special Items
there are two special items in the game the "Masterpiece" and the "Travel "kit". When your painters increase their skills they'll get the options to travel or make a masterpiece. If you don't have enough money on hand or the time right now !!!Don't worry!!!. You can at anytime if they are ready place one of these items on a free spot and drag them over to it to use it.
Painters
When starting the game you start out with a very good painter. The difference that i've noticed between the painters is "speed". It didn't really seem to me like the amount of stars the painter had did anything other than increase the speed when doing tasks. Nonetheless this is a very big difference when playing since lower star painters are gonna be quite bad at doing tasks and increasing their skills.

I would suggest going for the "Special painters" that sometimes show up in the top right corner foor 900$ florins. I personally had the must fun and ease when buying these painters.
If you wanna go for buying painters from the hire section, try the 100 bucks option first i found some good painters using that once or twice.

Their specialty trend shouldn't affect anything, but the master painters (the high star painters) seem to lean towards the trend light.

Stars = speed, for what i've experienced
Their border means if they are: newbs, have travelled or are masters
Miscellaneous
Flourins
This is the currency of the rennasance. It can be used on items, painters, new rooms, scenarios or improving rooms interior. You get florins from doing paintings or traveling to churches.

Prestige
You can gain prestige in two ways. firstly from doing paintings and secondly from buying items. Prestige increase chance of higher difficulty paintings.
You lose prestige from not "Responding" to an offer. It doesnt seem like you lose painting from declining offer but make so to give the customer a yes or no otherwise they get pissed.

Trends
These basically just change what kind of paintings people want. You get a bonus amount of coins if you paint what's trending but it doesnt really affect much so it's better to focus on quantity instead of quality in this case.

Paint
Paint is needed to paint paintings.... duh. so make sure to have enough of it and keep it in the back of your head when playing.

Customers
there are two kinds of customers. Ones that require travels and ones that don't. They are both good in the early game but as you progress will the traveling ones be less and less worth it sometimes. it can be worth it if you send a single painter away but otherwise don't bother late game.

Scenarios
There are a few scenarious you might run into
News:
They don't really affect anything usually, but sometimes they tell if new special painters are gonna arive soon.

Jail:
You might end up having your painter thrown to jail. It's only 200 florin to get him out so keep some money in your back pocket for if it happens. Not sure if you can get him out if you don't pay instantly so let me know if you find out.

Disease
Your older painters can get sick and risk dying. It's pretty much always worth it to save them as i see it. When they get sick just keep them in bed until they are well again. Haven't tested how the spreading works if it even exists but let me know if you find something out.

Death
Sometimes they die live with it.

Tips and tricks
The best tip
- If you have to many customers or painters traveling, wait accepting the offer as long as you can since the time to complete the painting first starts after you accept the offer.

Tips and tricks
- try to have your paintings, paint mixer and bed in 1-2 rooms next to each other and as close to the left as possible since this will minimize the amount you have to move your mouse.

- You can swap two painters positions/jobs dragging one painter atop of the other ("keep in mind the painter stops his current job when you are holding him")

- consider using the speed up function in the start of the game to speed it up a little but you might wanna consider slowing it down to normal later because of how often you have to move your painters

only takes 1-2 hours or so to do this much progress
Have a nice day
Have a nice day i hope the guide helped. It's a quite small game but i thought it be fun to do a little guide about. Let me know if you have questions or if something is unclear, I hope it helps :D.

Very solid guide. I found aspects of it very insightful. As for your painters being thrown in jail if you do not pay, in my experience they get out 1 year later and return to you without you having to pay any money.
