Horrifying Curios

描述


Inspired by u/Ihadtosaysomething1, this simple mod causes nearly all curios to inflict Horror instead of Stress. The amount is equal and is administered over 1 round.
The Sacrificial Stone is the only exception to this and it still deals 50 Stress, not 50 Horror
This renders Laudanum much more useful (and kinda gives it 'curio interactions' of a sort).



Note that as I've replaced the "curio_type_library.csv" file, this mod will override/be overridden by most other curio mods

Let me know if there are any bugs - I haven't fully tested this mod yet (specifically CC and CoM)

I've created a better version of Horrifying Curios mod, where horror lasts 5 rounds and Sacrificial Stone inflicts Horror as any other curios.

What is the reason for Sacrificial Stone not to deal Horror instead of Stress? Seems weird to me, since its positive effects is not wery good.

Nice mod! But 1 round of Horror duration is not the best idea because effects, which decreases Horror duration, will be useless. I suggest to increase duration to at least 3 standard rounds (or 5 in some cases).

Not having Crimson Court (specifically Infected Eggs Curio) will crash the game. Might help either having an alternate version or looking into the issue.

I find myself simply not interacting with curious that have a high risk of causing Horror now. Cleansing curios and avoiding stressful ones means that Laudanum, although a better proposition now, is still not really worth buying.
