MvM : How to choose your loot (100% WORKING FOR AUSTRALIUMS !)
By Quenquent the babysitter
Enough of getting bad loot ? You absolutely want this Australium Rocket Launcher but you keep piling bad loot over bad loot ? Well, don't fear no more, he's the guide to help you choose your loot ! This works no matter your tour count, your experience in MvM or even if you have a bad computer ! All you need is a really tiny bit of luck, but much less than if you were playing Mann Up normally without this guide !

Now let's get started !

Some words to begin
This have a 100% chance to work with Australium. However, it is not a 100% guarantee with killstreak kits and MvM-only cosmetics. There is a minor chance this works with the Golden Pan but I did not tested it myself.

For the ones afraid to get VAC banned or something similar, know that this method is 100% safe ! It does not require you to cheat anything nor to even download any illegal program. We will only be using features Valve intended us to use. However, the one we will be using here seems to be under-used.
Choosing your loot
The longest part of this guide will be about choosing your loot. By that I mean make Steam find your loot and find it for you. For that, we will be using the Steam community.

Go to www.steamcommunity.com this will redirect you to the steam community.

You should see something like this. What is at the bottom and middle of the page doesn't matter. All we are looking at is at the top.

We are going to the Steam Community Market. Just hover the "Community" menu and select "Market".

This will bring you to the Steam community Market page.

You may have to scroll down a bit to see this if you are selling something. This is all the items sold by members of the Steam community from various games. But what we want is in TF2, so we are selecting "Team Fortress 2" in the "Browse by game" menu on the right.

This should bring you to this page :

This is the list of Team Fortress 2 items sold by players. And among all of these items, MvM loots are included.

On the right, you can see a small search bar, allowing you to look for a particular item. This is the main tool we will use to choose our loot, so don't mess this up !

Here, we will take an Australium Rocket Launcher for example, so we will type "australium rocket launcher" in the search bar and press Enter.

Lucky us ! There a plenty of Aussies to choose from ! Now we will use this information to get our Australium Rocket Launcher.
Getting your loot
Now that we choose the loot we want, how do we get it ? Simple, click on the one you want. In our example, because I am someone that wants to looks cool as hell, we will take the Festivized Professional Killstreak Australium Rocket Launcher.

Ignore the "Place buy order" button, you will rarely get anything from this. Click the "Buy now" button and buy the weapon.

I will not teach how to add funds to your Steam account, I think you already know how to do that.

And there it is, you are now the proud owner of a Festivized Professional Killstreak Australium Rocket Launcher !!!
What's next ?
Now, you just reproduce the operation for any Australium, killstreak kits or any loot you want, you buy them all and stop playing Mann Up for the loot.

I guess you are smart enough to realise what this guide is actually about and make my point clear : we don't like you, players that only play Mann Up for the loot. You only think about profit and don't even enjoy the gamemode. All you care about is loot.

Now to answer the most common comments that will eventually come :

But buying stuff in the market is expensive !
Not as much as hoping to get what you want in a beautiful gambling machine. I've got around 140 tours among all Mann Up tours and the only Australiums I've got are an SMG and Grenade Launcher one, worth around 36€ in total. With all the money I've spent in Tour of Duty tickets, I could have bought that Aussie above for much less that I've spent in Mann Up. If you want to save money and get your Australium, buy it.

But i want to make profit out of Mann Up !
Profit from something where you will lose money on ? See the guy selling this Australium for 140€ ? He barely got any profit from it and that's if he even sells it. I don't even know why you even think you can make money from something you don't even know the drop rate of. As far as we know, there is a 1% chance you actually make money from this.

Dude, u salty ? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Yeah, maybe I am. Thank you for asking. But you know why I am ? Because I like MvM. I took the time to study it with other people that like MvM. We don't play Mann Up for profit but for fun. Sometimes we lobby together, sometimes we don't. But when someone comes and tell you that you have to play this or that because "It's the best/fastest way to win", while you absolutely know this is neither the best and fastest way to win AND that there's a difference between the best and the needed, you tend to be salty.

To the players that only consider Mann Up loot as a "little bonus" for mission completion, players that want to gain experience in MvM, players that wants to play with people that are not completely brain-dead, or even players that play for the loot BUT in a 6 players lobby, this guide is not against you. You enjoy MvM or do your thing without tainting the game experience for the others. The only "elitist" or "metards" that plays Mann Up are the ones that we dislike and don't even enjoy the game.

To anyone that read this guide, whoever you are, I wish you a good day.
