When your low on positions in a race or you are in a boost challenge you would like to know when to use tricks. One on the Super Monkey Ball level when you go across the finishing line with the water you can do a triple stunt,

Getting boosts at atarts of races are achieved by revving up when the screen fades in the countdown

There are many in burning deapths and also the jump on the one on the death egg you can do a multi roll

Dont defy the gravity

Many people think that there is no skill of doing boost but listen up, it comes in really useful. The fist time I did the race of ages I boosted at the end and just won.

Hot Rod
When you get the hot rod you feel like just running of with it but be patient
When you see a logo of a character start the hot rod and the don't listen to the alarm just wait until the arrows is on red and let go.

Collecting it from a box
Use it when the coast is clear so you don't run into anything or anyone.

Drifting
Sometimes its best not to wait otherwise you could run into a wall and lose your boost. Once you know the tracks its easier to understand but if you are a beginner... Look out

Tricks
As i said in the first column try and do tricks when you know its clear. As far as I know on the PC you can spin forward, backward, left and right! If done once you get a small boost you get a small boost. if done twice... yeah you get it

Now of course there is Risk Boost
Of course It can be quite hard in levels that have loads of obstacles but once you get the hang of it you feel like a BOSS

The different buttons to press are W,A,S,D (Unless of course you have changed them.
Timing is key when you do this, if you don't time properlly you will end up glitching the game(Like my Bro Did!!!)
