Plan Completion & Farming Helper Tool
By MakoSipper
Two versions of a spreadsheet-shaped automated tool to help you find items, monsters and get info on plans!

Simple version: Easily find items, monsters and get a list of items needed for plans. Start typing and the spreadsheet will give you the options to pick from! Also, you can see how many units of a given item are needed for plans!

Full version: All of the above, but also help you keep track of your Plans, and show only items that are currently available based on your input (plans, locations, stella's dungeon, colosseum...)! The tool will tell you how many of that item you still need for plans. Options tab will help you customise what you see.

Introduction
This spreadsheet is a tool I created for myself while I was playing Re;Birth1 in order to help me keep track of Plans I was able to complete. I also wanted it to tell me where I was able to acquire the necessary items, or find the monsters I had to defeat.

Since it worked very, very well for me, I thought I should share it.

When I started playing Re;Birth2, I thought I should take the structure of the previous one and adapt to the second game. While I was at it, I even boosted it immensely, so if you liked the previous one, you're gonna love this one. =)

Also, it was brought to my attention that my first spreadsheet would scare away most players, so I made a simple version on the side.

I hope it helps you as it helped me! =)
Simple Version
This tool is very easy to figure out on your own, but here are some short guidelines.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ea5FUodLCC6iXOeePAUc7OSO_JGFADdXxJKkllY8Flo/edit?usp=sharing

Basics
  • Use these 3 tools here to find items or monsters you're looking for, and to check plan requirements.
  • You can start typing and pick the item/monster/plan from the list.
  • Key Items are not listed. Colosseum monsters and Bosses are not listed, either. Drops from Colosseum monsters ARE listed, though.
  • The list of available locations for the items you're looking for will show on the right.
  • Note that you can only edit the 3 input areas.

Tips
  • Monsters with an * close to their name require the Add Enemies plan to be activated in order to appear.
  • Monsters with ** (two asterisks) close to their name require the Change Dungeon plan to be activated in order to appear.
  • Never mind the ID tags I've added to item names -- they're used to tell items with the same name apart. Pick one from the list and read the "More info" cell to figure out if you've got the right one.
  • Below the "Where can I get this item?" area, you can also see the total amount of the chosen item is necessary for plans.
  • Below the "What is needed for this Plan?" area, you can also see the space necessary to activate the plan.
Full Version
Almost everything in the spreadsheet is calculated automatically, but there are a few things you should know before using it. The short version of the explanation can be found on the spreadsheet, but here's a more detailed explanation.

FIRST AND FOREMOST
Go to "File > Make a copy..." before you try to use the spreadsheet! I recommend using it on Google Sheets because Excel lags A LOT when calculating the formulas, and some features might not work properly.

Basic Instructions
  • Most of this spreadsheet is protected so you don't accidentally ruin it. You should receive a warning if you try to change what you shouldn't.
  • Use the Plans tab to mark available and completed plans (columns D "Own" and F "Done").
  • Use the Locations tab to mark unlocked storyline dungeons (column B "Unlocked", rows 2 and 4-29).
  • Just to be safe, ALWAYS use an X to mark available and completed plans, as well as the available storyline dungeons on "Locations" tab.

Helping Tools
  • There are three main tools on Home tab used to find items or monsters you're looking for, and to check plan requirements. You can start typing and pick the item/monster/plan from the list.
  • You can only find chips, materials, and some tools (ie, consumable items) this way.
  • Key Items are not listed. Colosseum monsters and Bosses are not listed, either. Drops from Colosseum monsters ARE listed, though.
  • On the left side of Home tab, you'll see a list with the plans you can complete either with the items you have, or with items that you can farm.
  • Blue plans below are available for sure, while the grey ones depend on limited items.

Filtering and Sorting
  • Do NOT filter/sort any of the tabs! Instead, always use "Data > Filter views" so it doesn't change the default sorting order.
  • It's safer to close the view once you finish using it, but probably not necessary.
  • Some views have already been created. I do not recommend creating views for the Home tab.
  • I've included some Quick Links on Home tab for some of the filter views I have created.

Options
  • You can adjust your preferences from the Options tab.
  • You can choose which types of plans you want to see (Outfits, Accessories and Processors are not listed by default).
  • It's also possible to exclude/include items from Colosseum and Stella's Dungeon (Quest reward items are not included)
  • Make sure you mark all of the Dungeons available for Stella if you choose to include those items.

Tabs
  • Feel free to check other tabs (Plans, Locations, Monsters, and Loot) if you want to manually search for something specifically.
  • The Plans tab contains detailed information on the plans. It's also where you should mark available/complete plans. Blue requirements are available to you, while red ones are not. The few exceptions -- the grey ones -- may or may not be available, depending on limited items.
  • The Locations tab will show a list of available dungeons, as well as the plans you have unlocked to alter them. It is also where you should mark unlocked storyline dungeons (column B "Unlocked", rows 2 and 4-29).
  • The Monsters tab contains a lot of information on enemies, including XP and Credits dropped. Monsters with a Viral variant are color-coded purple, while Dangerous monsters are red. You can also check if they're available to fight.
  • The Loot tab will list all Idea Chips, Tools, Materials, and other items that you can farm. You can also check if they're currently available.

  • Below the "Where can I get this item?" area, you can also see the amount of the chosen item that you STILL need for plans. That means that items for plans marked as completed are NOT counted.
  • Below the "What is needed for this Plan?" area, you can find a link to the plan.

Notes for Advanced Users
  • There are some hidden tabs used for some formulas. If you want to change the spreadsheet, make sure you notice them.
  • There are many hidden auxiliary columns with white text so it doesn't confuse normal users. Don't forget to change them if you need to.
Final Words
Well, I hope this spreadsheet helped you find what you needed and complete your plans.

If you think it is a good tool, don't forget to rate this guide up! ;)
