Ah so finally new weapons than just 3 staple rifles (regular, laser and plasma). I look forward to trying this Chosen DLC.

Its part of the Chosen DLC. when you defeat one of the chosen, you can research and equip their weapons. It really pisses them off when you use their own weapons on them.
